Gallagher Security names Nikki Cardenas to lead US channel

Tue, 3rd Mar 2026

Gallagher Security has appointed Nikki Cardenas as National Channel Partner Manager in the US, creating a new role intended to strengthen its partner ecosystem as security and IT systems become more connected.

Based in Austin, Texas, Cardenas will focus on national partner relationships and partner programmes across the country as part of Gallagher's channel engagement strategy.

Demand has grown for systems that work across access control, video, and data environments. Integrations between products from different vendors are now a common procurement requirement, particularly for larger organisations with mixed estates. In response, vendors have expanded technology alliances and reseller programmes as customers seek more consolidated buying and support models.

Cardenas joins Gallagher after more than 13 years in partner ecosystem roles spanning video management, infrastructure, and data platforms. Most recently, she was at Milestone Systems, where she worked on global partner marketing initiatives across channel partners and technology alliances.

Earlier, she held leadership roles at LeoSight (formerly Live Earth) and Pivot3, which was later acquired by Quantum. She also worked at Arrow Electronics and SHI International, supporting partner programmes and go-to-market structures.

Gallagher described the new position as a strategic investment in its channel community, citing higher customer expectations and a more converged security landscape.

"In today's market, no technology stands alone," said Nikki Cardenas, National Channel Partner Manager, Gallagher Security.

"Customers expect integrated ecosystems like access control that works seamlessly with video, data platforms that connect across environments, and partners who can deliver cohesive solutions. My entire career has been focused on building those bridges," said Cardenas.

Partner focus

Gallagher noted that Cardenas is new to access control and perimeter security as specific categories, but highlighted her experience in adjacent areas of the security and IT market, including video management software, hyperconverged infrastructure, and SaaS-based data visualisation platforms.

The company also framed the appointment as a signal that it views ecosystem strength as a competitive advantage. That reflects a broader trend in physical security, where manufacturers and software providers increasingly rely on integrators, distributors, and specialist technology partners for deployment, integration, and ongoing service.

Natalie Bannon, Gallagher's Director of Strategic Alliances, said the hire adds experience in partner programmes and internal alignment across commercial teams.

"Nikki understands what it takes to build high-performing partner programs that create measurable impact," said Natalie Bannon, Director of Strategic Alliances, Gallagher Security.

"Her experience aligning sales, marketing, and product teams around partner success will help us elevate our channel strategy and further empower our partners nationwide," said Bannon.

Role remit

Cardenas will work on strengthening national partner engagement and refining enablement programmes. The remit also includes closer alignment between Gallagher's product roadmap and partner needs, with a focus on integration requirements raised by customers and integrators.

Gallagher said Cardenas has led programmes supporting hundreds of partners across multiple regions. Her work has included onboarding structures, enablement frameworks, and co-marketing strategies, alongside data-led operational execution.

Channel strategies have become more complex as buyers shift toward connected platforms and cloud software. That has increased demand for training, integration certification, and consistent partner communications, particularly for deployments where access control, identity, video, and analytics systems share data.

Cardenas will work closely with Gallagher's US sales and marketing teams as the company aims to deepen partner relationships and drive channel-led growth nationwide.

Cardenas said she was drawn to the company's culture and partner approach.

"Gallagher has a strong reputation for customer-led innovation," said Cardenas.

"What stood out to me immediately was the culture: collaborative, welcoming, and genuinely partner focused. That alignment makes it possible to build something sustainable and meaningful," said Cardenas.

Gallagher operates internationally, selling integrated security products used across government and commercial markets. It said the appointment reflects the industry's shift toward integrated platforms and strategic ecosystems, with dedicated channel leadership now in place to build national partner engagement in the US.
