Brightcove launches AI Content Suite for video creators

Brightcove has introduced its AI Content Suite, a set of tools designed to enhance video content impact and improve business productivity.

The AI Content Suite offers solutions that streamline the process of content creation, metadata optimisation, and translation. It allows creators to efficiently engage audiences by automating video production processes.

Scott Levine, Chief Product Officer at Brightcove, described the suite as "a force multiplier for anyone looking to expand the impact of their video content without increasing their workload. Embedded within our video platform, the AI Content Suite easily and quickly enables a video creation multiplier effect without going to other tools and platforms. This allows our customers to maximize their content reach and engagement."

The suite's features include turning long-form content into short-form clips, converting horizontal videos for mobile use, and auto-generating metadata such as titles and tags. It also plans to offer translation capabilities into multiple languages soon.

This solution aligns with Brightcove's aim to address customer business needs, such as enhanced audience engagement and improved content production efficiency. In its pilot phase, several companies collaborated on its development across diverse industries.

Remi Brunier, Director of Product and UX at STV, emphasised the suite's impact, noting, "The AI Content Suite transformed our clip and trailer production process. What used to take hours now takes minutes, allowing us to reduce costs and focus more on creativity and strategy. Brightcove will continue to innovate within the suite, planning to introduce text-to-video capabilities as well as features for automated video interactivity and personalisation to foster audience engagement.

The company commits to maintaining stringent security standards and ethical AI use. It ensures that tools in the suite are supported by its security framework and pledges not to use customer content or data to train AI models without consent.
