Conifers.ai unveils agentic AI platform to boost MSSP efficiency

Yesterday

Conifers.ai has launched a new programme aimed at assisting managed security service providers (MSSPs) to address the increasing complexity and scale of security operations using agentic artificial intelligence.

The new offering, named CognitiveSOC, is designed to reduce end-to-end investigation times by up to 87% and allow MSSPs to handle both simple and complex incidents across multiple customers. The platform utilises agentic AI to provide tailored, contextual investigations for each tenant, a move Conifers.ai states will help MSSPs expand their client base without proportional increases in operational costs.

Many MSSPs and managed detection and response (MDR) providers are experiencing higher demand due to more persistent and sophisticated security threats. The additional pressure of responding to incidents more quickly, accurately, and at a larger scale has challenged their traditional operating models. Conifers.ai says its new MSSP programme offers support for multi-tenancy, seamless integration with various technology stacks, phased onboarding, and a pricing model intended to support predictable margins and profitability.

Tom Findling, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Conifers, commented, "Our team has extensive experience working with service providers. We understand their pain points and the constant pressure to safeguard customers while growing their businesses. With this knowledge, we designed our patent-pending agentic AI platform to boost their effectiveness and efficiency with high-quality investigations so they can meet demand head-on, delivering excellence for customers and accelerating business growth."

The CognitiveSOC platform is presented as being capable of tackling a broad spectrum of incidents, including both low-level (tier one) and more complex (tier three) cases. According to the company, the agentic AI technology continuously ingests incidents and leverages tenant-based knowledge to offer deep, contextual analyses and recommendations per client.

Features include centralised tenant management, nested multi-tenancy, and dashboards intended to offer clear, customer-specific insights into operational outcomes. The company notes its platform can support expansion without the need to increase resources, with productivity and efficiency claimed to increase through the use of automation and multi-tenancy features. Onboarding support is also offered, with a focus on enabling MSSPs to scale at their own pace.

Conifers states that the platform provides benefits such as the ability to expand customer contracts by offering multiple levels of service, improved client retention through more reliable incident resolution, more precise demonstrations of ROI, and the ability to integrate with existing tools and processes.

Rutger de Boer, Chief Technology Officer at Dutch Technology eXperts, described the impact of the platform, saying, "The Conifers platform's ability to manage dozens of tenants, each with its own baseline and customer-specific knowledge base, has significantly improved the quality of our operations, reducing investigation times in a way that's both efficient and effective."

Randy Watkins, Chief Technology Officer at Critical Start, addressed a common challenge in security monitoring. He stated, "Broader detection coverage can result in higher alert volumes and false positives, but reducing the noise can cause teams to miss real threats. AI presents an opportunity to eliminate the compromise between effectiveness and efficiency. With Conifers it's possible to maintain comprehensive detection coverage while conducting deep, high-quality investigations, ensuring faster and more accurate responses to incidents."

Edmund How, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ONESECURE, noted the changes in security operations for his company since adopting Conifers. He said, "Conifers is transforming how we run our SOC. Instead of drowning in alerts or hiring more analysts, we now have agentic AI that acts with context, scales our expertise, and adapts in real time. It's more than what automation provides - it's intelligence we can trust. With Conifers, we're delivering faster, smarter, and more precise security outcomes for every customer."

Conifers was recently listed as a Sample Vendor in a Gartner report on emerging trends in managed detection and response, which discussed the use of advanced AI for security service delivery.

Conifers.ai operates from offices in Israel and Texas and its CognitiveSOC platform is already being adopted by organisations including ONESECURE and Dutch Technology eXperts.
