Constructor has won three Gold Company of the Year honours across three Stevie Awards programmes, recognising the eCommerce technology company's work in retail and eCommerce.

Its latest award was Gold for Company of the Year: Ecommerce in the International Business Awards. Earlier, it won Gold for Company of the Year: Retail and Ecommerce in the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence and Gold for Company of the Year: Retail in the American Business Awards.

The company also received product-level recognition for its AI Product Insights Agent, or PIA. In the International Business Awards, PIA won Gold for New Product of the Year: Electronic Commerce Solution. In the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence, it took Gold for New Product of the Year: Ecommerce and Retail. In the American Business Awards, it received Silver in the electronic commerce solution category and a People's Choice Award for favourite new product in that field.

Stevie Awards organisers receive more than 12,000 nominations each year from organisations in more than 70 nations and territories. With these results, Constructor said it had won the top company honour in every applicable Stevie programme covering retail or eCommerce this year.

Judges' comments

Judges cited both commercial impact and technical development in their assessments. One panel comment said: "Constructor presents one of the strongest examples of AI innovation translating directly into measurable business outcomes."

Other remarks focused on the company's broader product approach. One judge said: "Constructor deserves recognition for its groundbreaking reasoning engine, which transforms eCommerce by delivering highly personalized shopping experiences that go far beyond basic keyword matching, driving massive engagement and measurable business results."

Another added: "Constructor brings high-impact, forward-leaning innovations that equip organizations to accelerate adoption and maintain a competitive edge in the new landscape of agentic commerce."

A further judge wrote: "AI capabilities are not simply experimental features, but production technologies delivering measurable value for major retailers."

Another comment said the company "balances monumental business growth with cutting-edge product innovation."

Product focus

Much of the product-specific recognition centred on PIA, which appears on product detail pages and answers shoppers' questions in a conversational format. The tool is designed to address basic queries that might otherwise interrupt a buying decision, such as questions about fit or product suitability.

Judges' comments on PIA focused on that use case and its commercial effect for retailers. One said: "This nails a real problem - people bounce from product pages because they can't get quick answers to simple questions like 'Will this fit?' or 'Is it dishwasher-safe?' The results are hard to argue with... This is conversational AI actually moving the needle."

Another judge said: "The tool is brilliant for large-scale eCommerce, effectively solving real-time shopper friction."

A separate comment stated: "Strong measurable business results - including higher conversion rates, increased revenue, and reduced support requests - demonstrate clear customer and retailer value."

Another said: "Constructor created a great AI tool that helps shoppers make confident buying decisions."

Constructor sells product discovery technology to eCommerce retailers and brands including Sephora, Under Armour, The Very Group, White Stuff, Target Australia and AMI Paris. Its systems focus on search, recommendation and product discovery tools that respond to shopper behaviour on retailers' own sites.

The latest awards place Constructor alongside larger technology and corporate groups recognised in Stevie AI categories this year, including Accenture, Cisco, CVS Health, Google, IBM, Lenovo, Scribd, Walmart and Wells Fargo.

Recent recognition

The Stevie wins add to a recent run of industry recognition. Constructor was also named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States and won a Best Use of AI in Retail and Ecommerce title in the Champions in AI Awards.

It also received an Agent Ready Award from the MACH Alliance for agentic solutions in live production at scale. Separately, Constructor said it had been named a Leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Search and Product Discovery, and had achieved the most number one rankings in Gartner's related Critical Capabilities report for the second consecutive year.

Those accolades come as retailers continue to test whether generative AI and related tools can move beyond pilots into everyday shopping functions. Product detail pages, site search and customer support have emerged as key areas where suppliers are trying to show direct effects on conversion rates, revenue and shopper engagement.

Eli Finkelshteyn, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Constructor, linked the company's approach to practical retail outcomes. "We've always believed the best applications of AI aren't about AI for its own sake - they're about finding new and better ways to solve real problems," he said.

"For us, that means helping retailers succeed while making shopping meaningfully better for the people they serve. That's what we've built our platform around, and it's what we'll continue investing in. We're thrilled to see our work recognized so consistently across the Stevie Awards this year. Ultimately, though, the test of any technology is what happens when customers put it to work - and seeing retailers use ours every day to drive meaningful results is what matters most."
