Cybord partners with Fuji America to enhance SMT quality

Cybord has announced a new strategic partnership with Fuji America Corporation to bring visual AI-powered technology to surface mount technology (SMT) production lines throughout the Americas.

Fuji America Corporation, known for its work in SMT equipment, will incorporate Cybord's advanced AI component analytics into its manufacturing process. This collaboration positions Fuji America at the forefront of manufacturing excellence by offering enhanced electronic component quality assurance and traceability to its customers across different industries.

Recent increases in product recalls, especially related to faulty or counterfeit electronic components, underscore the importance of robust component analysis tools for manufacturers. By allowing the inspection of 100% of components on an assembly line, the Fuji America-Cybord solution aims to reduce disruptions caused by supply chain issues.
