Deloitte & Palantir launch AI-powered system for government clients

Thu, 24th Jul 2025

Deloitte and Palantir have collaborated to deliver an Enterprise Operating System (EOS) for government and commercial clients, combining Deloitte's industry expertise with Palantir's data and artificial intelligence technologies.

The EOS is intended to provide faster access to insights traditionally held within organisational data silos. By integrating Deloitte's established intellectual property and domain experience with the Palantir Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), the two firms aim to bring improvements in performance and efficiency to a range of clients. The EOS is the first of several offerings being developed jointly for commercial and government users.

Jason Girzadas, Deloitte US Chief Executive Officer, stated,

"Deloitte shares Palantir's commitment to decisive action and a dedication to delivering meaningful, lasting results for commercial and government clients. Expanding our preferred relationship at this pivotal moment provides our clients with Palantir's latest advances in AI, combined with Deloitte's engineering scale and deep sector experience."

Market response

The EOS has been developed to help organisations by merging several tools: Deloitte Ascend, which enables human and AI collaboration for domain specific outcomes; Deloitte's Zora AI, a suite of agentic, pre-configured AI agents optimised for business outcomes; and Palantir Foundry and AIP, employing Deloitte's industry practices for expedited implementation.

Jennifer Walcott, Deloitte's Government and Public Services Industry Leader, commented on the initial adoption of the new system, stating,

"The strong market response to the Enterprise Operating System - infused with Deloitte's Zora AI agents - demonstrates the impact we can achieve together. It's a testament to our shared drive to help clients reimagine what's possible and achieve more in their missions and businesses by unlocking new levels of insight, agility, and speed."

Both government and commercial clients have started leveraging the EOS for a variety of operational improvements, including financial and grants management, audit readiness, human resource processes, supply chain visibility, ERP modernisation, and AI-driven automation. According to information provided by the companies, a major federal agency in the United States is currently utilising EOS to analyse data supporting important decision-making processes. The reported result has been the saving of hundreds of thousands of person hours and more effective profiling of complex historical data supporting ERP and financial transformation activities.

Workforce development

Deloitte has made investments in workforce training aligned with Palantir's technology. The company reports building the largest group of certified Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) outside of Palantir itself, and aims to further increase this number over the next year. To support broader adoption and client outcomes, Deloitte has established the Palantir Centre of Excellence (COE) in Arlington, Virginia. The COE is designed to host training bootcamps where clients can explore the potential applications of EOS within their organisations and examine the speed at which such solutions may be implemented.

Dr. Alex Karp, Palantir Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, said,

"Deloitte has an impressive team of Palantir users. We look forward to building solutions with them that will make America stronger."

Expanding the offering

Deloitte's collaboration with Palantir aligns with its ongoing strategy to grow its range of AI-based solutions. The company continues to develop products such as the ZoraAI agentic platform, Converge by Deloitte, and GovConnect by Deloitte, all aimed at supporting organisations in achieving outcome-specific digital transformation. These products are supported by the Deloitte Ascend delivery platform, which assists in building AI solutions intended to deliver stable performance, robust security, and scalability.

Both organisations indicated that the partnership is a result of mutual investment in technological capability and sector knowledge, with the aim of enabling faster progress for their clients on AI-driven transformation projects.
