EvoluteIQ has appointed Paul Maguire as Chief Growth Officer and Abhinaya S R as Chief Human Resources Officer, expanding its leadership team after a USD $53 million minority growth investment led by Baird Capital.

The appointments add senior commercial and people leadership as EvoluteIQ expands across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The Stockholm-headquartered company is seeing stronger adoption among large organisations, including Fortune 500 customers in banking, financial services, insurance and healthcare.

Maguire takes on a full-time operating role after more than three years as a board adviser to EvoluteIQ. He brings more than three decades of experience in enterprise software and automation, including leadership roles at Appian, Pega and Coupa.

He will lead the group's global go-to-market strategy as EvoluteIQ looks to turn customer demand into broader commercial growth in international markets. The company is positioning a single platform for business process orchestration instead of fragmented automation tools.

Abhinaya S R will lead EvoluteIQ's global people strategy, organisational design and talent architecture. She has more than two decades of human resources leadership experience at technology companies including Abnormal AI, Soroco, ThoughtWorks and Infosys.

The appointment adds structure to workforce planning as EvoluteIQ grows its international footprint. The company has research and development centres in Bengaluru and Menlo Park, alongside commercial offices in London and New York.

Executives tied the hires to a broader effort to scale the business after the Baird Capital funding round. EvoluteIQ also reported strong annual recurring revenue growth in its most recent quarter and said it has achieved about 170% net revenue retention, a measure often used to track expansion within existing customers.

Commercial push

Maguire's appointment gives EvoluteIQ an executive focused on sales expansion as software vendors race to define how artificial intelligence fits into business operations. Across the sector, companies are trying to move beyond isolated automation projects and persuade large organisations to deploy AI tools more widely across their operations.

Having been closely involved in EvoluteIQ's development during his advisory period, Maguire brings insight into the company's product direction and customer base. His task now is to turn that knowledge into revenue growth across key markets.

"Enterprises today are looking for scalable, outcome-driven automation solutions that can operate across complex environments. EvoluteIQ's approach to unifying workflows, data, and AI presents a compelling opportunity, and I look forward to continuing to drive the growth in this space," said Paul Maguire, Chief Growth Officer of EvoluteIQ.

People strategy

Abhinaya S R joins at a time when many technology companies are revisiting hiring models, talent retention and organisational design as AI reshapes skill needs and operating structures. Her remit includes shaping how EvoluteIQ recruits, develops and organises staff across its global operations.

Her experience in high-growth businesses is expected to support EvoluteIQ's expansion while maintaining internal structure. That includes managing people practices through periods of transformation, an area that has become more prominent as technology companies respond to shifts in customer demand and product development cycles.

"As the business landscape rapidly evolves, organisations must adapt how they attract talent and scale capability. At EvoluteIQ, we are building a culture where people grow alongside the technology we build and deploy," said Abhinaya S R, Chief Human Resources Officer of EvoluteIQ.

Leadership depth

The appointments are part of a broader plan to build out the executive team as demand grows for AI-led automation in regulated industries. EvoluteIQ serves clients across banking, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications and manufacturing.

Industry forecasts cited by EvoluteIQ point to rapid expansion in the market for agentic AI systems in the coming years, as businesses look for software that can handle multi-step processes with limited human intervention. That trend is prompting vendors to sharpen their product positioning and invest in senior leadership to support larger customer relationships.

Sameet Gupte, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of EvoluteIQ, said the hires are intended to strengthen the company's ability to execute globally.

"Enterprises are no longer asking whether Agentic AI will transform their operations but who they can trust to deliver it at scale with governance and without the fragmentation that has undermined previous automation investments. These appointments are about building the leadership depth to meet that demand. Paul brings the strategic and commercial rigour to drive our global expansion with precision. Abhinaya brings the organisational discipline to ensure we scale with integrity. Along with the current executive leadership, they fortify a team built for the next chapter," said Gupte.
