Geordie appoints Courtney Broadwell as Channel Chief

Wed, 3rd Jun 2026 (Today)

Geordie has appointed Courtney Broadwell as Vice President of Channel, expanding its U.S. leadership team.

Based in New York, the AI security company said Broadwell will lead its global channel strategy and partner ecosystem as customers look for ways to deploy AI agents with stronger governance and security controls.

She brings more than 15 years of experience in channel and partner roles across cybersecurity. Most recently, Broadwell was a founding leader of the partner organization at Cyera, where she helped build the company's partner ecosystem. Before that, she spent eight years at Snyk, working on channel and cloud partnership programs during a period of rapid growth.

The appointment comes as Geordie builds out its senior team in the U.S. following a USD $30 million Series A round led by Balderton Capital. It also reported 1300% annual recurring revenue growth in the first five months of 2026 and a win at the RSAC Innovation Sandbox.

Partner strategy

In the new role, Broadwell will oversee Geordie's work with channel partners, systems integrators, cloud providers, and technology alliances. Her remit includes building an ecosystem of services and integrations for enterprises using AI agents.

That focus reflects a broader shift in cybersecurity as customers seek outside support to manage the risks tied to autonomous AI software. Channel partners and advisers are increasingly positioning themselves to help large companies address governance, compliance, and security issues linked to AI agents in internal workflows and customer-facing operations.

Henry Comfort, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Geordie, said the appointment supports that strategy.

"Trust is the foundation of security, and the channel is how trust scales. From day one, we've been committed to partnering closely with the channel to help our customers discover, govern, and secure AI agents," said Henry Comfort, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Geordie.

"Courtney has spent her career building those ecosystems, and her leadership will help us deepen our relationships with partners, support our customers' success, and accelerate the adoption of AI," Comfort said.

Growth push

Geordie is part of a growing group of companies developing security tools specifically for AI agents, a market that has emerged as businesses experiment with software systems that can take action with limited human oversight. These tools are designed to address concerns around visibility, governance, and control as companies move from pilot projects to broader deployment.

For Geordie, the channel is likely to be an important route to market as buyers seek advice from existing suppliers and consulting partners before committing to new security spending. Systems integrators, cloud partners, and specialist resellers often play a central role in introducing new cybersecurity products into large enterprise accounts.

Broadwell said that dynamic creates an opening for partners to shape how the market develops.

"The channel has a unique opportunity to help define how enterprises secure and govern AI agents," said Courtney Broadwell, Vice President of Channel at Geordie.

"Our goal is not simply to create another product for partners to resell. We want to help partners build meaningful practices and entirely new service revenue streams around agentic AI security. Organisations that invest early in understanding and securing AI agents will be best positioned as adoption scales across the enterprise, and we intend to build that future alongside our partners," Broadwell said.

Her arrival also highlights how start-ups in the AI security market are turning to senior channel executives from more established cybersecurity companies as they work to build distribution and credibility with enterprise customers. Broadwell's experience at Cyera and Snyk gives Geordie an executive with a background in scaling partner programs at fast-growing companies.

Geordie said it aims to build on its momentum with partners as demand for agentic AI security grows.
