Google has released two new industry-specific Gemini video learning bundles for financial services and legal professionals. The courses are available free through Google Skills.

The training includes four courses for financial services and five for legal work, along with short videos showing how Gemini can support sector-specific tasks.

For finance workers, the material covers preparing for client meetings, reviewing market information, and handling bond issuance and credit market analysis. The bundle is aimed at roles including Financial Analysts, Portfolio Managers and Financial Advisers working with large volumes of market data under tight deadlines.

The financial services courses are titled Elevate Financial Advisor Insights with Gemini, Use Gemini for Financial Portfolio Resilience, Accelerate Bond Issuance in Gemini, and Uncover Credit Market Opportunities with Gemini.

For legal work, the training focuses on compliance reviews, regulatory scanning, document redaction, contract review, and drafting non-disclosure agreements. The legal bundle is designed for day-to-day workflows where document review and accuracy are central.

The legal courses are titled Use Gemini for Legal Regulatory Horizon Scanning, Use Gemini for Legal Data and DSAR Responses, Contract Review and Playbook Creation with Gemini, Use Gemini to Redact Legal Documents, and Draft NDA Documents with Gemini.

Sector focus

Google positioned the new bundles around practical tasks in regulated industries. In one finance example, it described a Financial Adviser reviewing extensive US Securities and Exchange Commission material before a client meeting. In a legal example, it showed Gemini being used to build compliance standards, review agreements against those standards, identify breaches, and propose remedies.

The move reflects a growing focus among large technology groups on role-based training tied to generative AI products, rather than broader introductory material. By targeting legal and financial services, Google is focusing on two sectors where adoption is often shaped by documentation demands, regulatory oversight, and pressure to reduce manual review work.

Broader training

Google is also promoting its Gemini Agent Ready programme, known as GEAR, for users seeking more advanced training in agent-based AI systems.

The programme offers industry-recognised skill badges and includes 35 credits for interactive training environments on Google Skills. It is aimed at people moving beyond introductory workflows to building and testing agentic AI systems.

The launch adds to Google's wider effort to expand practical use of Gemini through structured learning content tied to everyday business tasks, rather than general product education.
