Yesterday

iManage has reported significant company momentum characterised by a 42% year-over-year growth in annual recurring revenue and the acquisition of 305 new clients globally.

The company expanded its presence across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, which was reflected in its increased customer base. Furthermore, a recent survey indicated that twice as many respondents preferred iManage over its nearest competitor, and that among the 72% of law firms employing ethical walls as a security measure, 39% rely on iManage for this purpose.

iManage Cloud, utilised by 71% of iManage's customers, contributed to this growth, further supported by the introduction of a new cloud region in Switzerland. This expansion brings the total to ten cloud regions on Microsoft Azure, enhancing secure access and data residency choices for customers.

A significant environmental benefit was achieved in 2024, with the avoidance of approximately 4,335 tons of CO2 emissions per month due to the migration of on-premises workloads to iManage Cloud.

iManage serves over 1.1 million diverse users, including large and midsize law firms and corporate legal teams, with substantial representation across the Global 100, AmLaw 200, and Fortune 100.

Innovation in artificial intelligence was a highlight for iManage in 2024, introducing services such as Ask iManage, iManage AI Enrichment, and iManage Mailbox Assistant, all of which aim to foster user adoption and improve business outcomes.

Additionally, iManage launched Insight+, a solution designed to provide access to curated internal knowledge while ensuring ethical restrictions and permissions are upheld. Insight+ has been adopted by over 20 new customers, adding upwards of 20,000 new users.

Womble Bond Dickinson, a law firm using Insight+, reported significant benefits from the service, earning a recent nomination for "Best Transformation Initiative" at the Lawyer European Awards.

The company continued to develop its product portfolio, enhancing workflow and automation capabilities, such as integration with Microsoft Power Automate and new AI-driven smart flows.

Momentum was sustained for products like iManage Tracker and iManage Closing Folders, which added over 40 new customers in 2024 and is credited with streamlining more than 35,000 deals, maintaining a 99.3% customer satisfaction score.

Collaboration with partners including Microsoft and ServiceNow was furthered, with new integrations facilitating enhanced workflows and user experience. iManage's collaboration with Microsoft now includes Copilot integration, which assists in extracting critical information within iManage documents.

Neil Araujo, CEO of iManage, commented on the company's achievements, "The start of a new year provides an opportunity to look back on the most recent chapter in our ongoing journey. We were firing on all cylinders in 2024, delivering the innovations that will make a meaningful impact on customers' everyday lives and their ability to drive better business outcomes."

"Rather than getting distracted by hype, we have been laser-focused on serving as a trusted partner who can deliver the solutions customers need. This deliberate and mindful approach has guided the ongoing investments in our knowledge work platform, and it has been validated by the remarkable customer growth we've seen. We look forward to continuing to build on our momentum in 2025, which promises to be just as exciting a year."
