Kellton wins AI claims platform deal for US healthcare

Kellton has been selected by a US healthcare administration and claims management company to build an AI-driven enterprise claims management platform, combining several claims operations on one system.
The Hyderabad-based technology company said the work covers healthcare, dental and workers' compensation claims. It will replace disconnected systems and workflows with a unified digital architecture spanning submission, verification, review, workflow management and settlement.
The client was not named. Kellton described it as a leading company in the US healthcare administration and claims management market.
The platform is intended to serve as a central system within the client's wider operating environment. It is expected to connect with provider networks, policy administration systems, and billing and payment services, allowing information to move between parties involved in claims processing.
Claims administration in US healthcare often involves multiple systems, large volumes of regulated data and several external participants. Across the sector, companies have been using automation and artificial intelligence to reduce manual work, improve oversight and manage the complexity of claims handling.
For Kellton, the engagement adds to its healthcare technology work and highlights the continued role of Indian IT services companies in modernising back-office and operational systems for overseas clients. The project draws on enterprise engineering, systems integration and automation in a regulated environment where auditability and data integrity are important.
The group employs more than 2,000 professionals across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its work spans cloud, data, AI, enterprise platforms and digital product engineering.
Sector focus
The project centres on claims management, a function that affects costs, payment timelines and administrative workloads across healthcare organisations. Bringing healthcare, dental and workers' compensation processes onto one platform could give the client a clearer view of operations and reduce reliance on fragmented legacy tools.
Demand for such projects has risen as insurers, administrators and service providers try to connect older core systems with newer digital tools. In highly regulated sectors, companies also need systems that can track decisions, preserve records and support compliance requirements while handling large transaction volumes.

Kellton said the platform is being built for mission-critical operations in a regulated healthcare setting. That means it will need to support accurate processing, maintain auditable records and manage data consistently across the claims lifecycle.
The engagement also reflects continuing demand from US clients for Indian technology suppliers that can combine software development with systems integration in complex operating environments. Healthcare administration remains one of the more demanding areas for such work because claims decisions depend on timely coordination between systems, people and external organisations.
The new platform will serve as the foundation for wider AI use across claims operations, with the immediate task focused on replacing fragmented processes with a single architecture.
