KPMG expands AI collaboration with Google Cloud for business
KPMG has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Google Cloud, leveraging AI technologies to transform business operations in legal services, banking, and other industries.
KPMG will aid clients in constructing integrated, scalable AI platforms through its role as a key deployment partner for Google Agentspace. This initiative aims to enhance decision-making and efficiently manage AI agents using trusted and secure technology.
The collaboration will utilise tools such as Agentspace, Vertex AI Agent Builder, and Agent Development Kit. Additionally, KPMG and Google Cloud will work together on new capabilities through Google Cloud's Agent2Agent (A2A) interoperability protocol, which standardises cross-platform communication for AI agents.
KPMG Law US, a subsidiary of KPMG LLP, will integrate Google Cloud AI to enhance its service offerings, focusing on AI-assisted contract review, research, and legal automation to streamline processes like document analysis and compliance checks.
The partnership extends to the banking sector, where KPMG and Google Cloud aim to transform services by deploying AI agents to assist in complex operations such as commercial lending, leveraging KPMG's industry expertise to enhance business functions.
KPMG will also implement Google Cloud's AI internally to enhance employee experiences, with a firm-wide deployment of Agentspace to improve administrative task efficiency and internal system navigation.
This initiative includes using NotebookLM Enterprise to transform employee learning and development by integrating enterprise knowledge systems into a unified resource.
The collaboration draws on past successes of KPMG and Google Cloud, which have assisted clients across industries, from finance to risk management and beyond, with AI-driven solutions that improve operations and regulatory compliance.
KPMG's Vice Chair of AI and Digital Innovation, Steve Chase, stated, "I am excited about how KPMG and Google Cloud are helping clients transform their organizations by harnessing the best of KPMG's functional and industry expertise and Agentspace's cutting-edge technology. We're enabling clients to put the right AI and agent capabilities in place today to create lasting value."
