Linarc & BigRentz partner to streamline construction equipment hire

Fri, 4th Jul 2025

Linarc has announced a strategic integration with BigRentz to support construction teams in managing project planning alongside equipment procurement and reduce jobsite delays.

The partnership will provide Linarc users with direct access to BigRentz's rental network of over 6,000 suppliers, all accessible from within the Linarc platform. Construction teams will be able to secure equipment more quickly, manage rentals through their usual workflows, and reduce errors or confusion that may result from switching between systems.

Unified procurement workflow

Linarc is aiming to address a common challenge within the construction sector. Many construction technology tools operate independently, which can force field teams to work with separate, disconnected solutions for planning, labour, and procurement tasks. The integration between Linarc and BigRentz aims to bridge this disconnect by connecting project planning tools directly with a large-scale rental inventory.

Scott Cannon, Chief Executive Officer of BigRentz, commented on the impact that integrated systems can have on project delivery.

"When scheduling and procurement aren't connected, delays are all but guaranteed. This partnership fixes that. By integrating BigRentz directly into Linarc's planning tools, we're helping contractors lock in equipment faster, stay on schedule, and avoid the costly scramble."

The unified platform also includes support for document management, cost tracking, and delivery updates. Linarc users will be able to access the BigRentz-powered catalogue directly from within the Linarc interface, with a single click enabling them to transition to the BigRentz platform and complete their rental transactions. This seeks to streamline procurement tasks and enable teams to remain organised throughout the project lifecycle.

Supporting project outcomes

Shanthi Rajan, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Linarc, said that the company's focus remains on simplifying construction management for project teams.

"At Linarc, our mission has always been to remove complexity from construction management by unifying the tools teams rely on every day. The partnership with BigRentz takes that vision a step further, making procurement easily available during project planning. Equipment delays are often the reason for missed deadlines and budget overruns. By connecting resource planning with real-time rental access, Linarc is helping construction teams make faster, more informed decisions and ultimately, deliver better outcomes."

Through this partnership, contractors will be able to manage rentals and procurement within a familiar digital environment, eliminating the need for manual coordination across multiple platforms. This can reduce administrative workload and mitigate the risks associated with double handling.

Industry access and pricing

The collaboration also includes special pricing on BigRentz services for existing Linarc customers, designed to support the adoption of the integrated solution and provide cost incentives for contractors looking to update their workflows.

The BigRentz network comprises more than 6,000 suppliers nationwide, offering access to equipment through a centralised catalogue embedded in the Linarc interface. This feature is designed to facilitate faster decision-making and enhance control over project timelines for construction teams, while consolidating documentation and cost records in a single location.
