Mango boosts sustainability with automated lab test roll-out

Mango has expanded its partnership with Inspectorio to implement an automated Lab Test Management solution across its global operations. The move is aimed at supporting Mango's Strategic Sustainability Plan and improving consistency and compliance in product quality.

The new system offers Mango detailed performance insights at the supplier, material, and product levels. By adopting this technology, Mango intends to identify operational trends and address quality issues more rapidly. Mango works with over 400 suppliers and 2,500 factories, a scale that requires robust oversight and process standardisation.

The solution will standardise lab testing protocols across all product categories, including apparel, footwear, and home goods. This approach is designed to ensure uniform compliance with global standards. The company views these steps as integral to delivering on its sustainability commitments and increasing transparency.

Digital transformation

Inspectorio's platform centralises quality inspection and lab test data, integrating these functions to reduce operational silos. By digitising lab test requests, results, and compliance documentation, Mango aims to support its expansion strategy efficiently while maintaining a focus on sustainability.

Mango's adoption of Inspectorio's inspection technology began over six years ago. The recent extension to cover lab test management coincides with ongoing growth efforts in the United States, where Mango has opened several new stores this year.
