Mega HR launches Megan, an AI recruiter to cut ghosting
Mega HR has announced the launch of Megan, a new AI Recruiter designed to automate a significant portion of the hiring process and address the issue of applicant "ghosting".
The AI-driven recruiter is built on a sophisticated multi-agent system that allows for efficient handling of complex recruitment tasks. This system works by enabling multiple agents to work collaboratively, which aids in the detailed reasoning necessary for recruiting.
Megan possesses the ability to self-train, adapting to architectural and behavioural changes, which enhances her capability to process information fluidly. This mimics human-like thought processes while accessing all relevant data instantly.
Megan also utilises neural-symbolic reasoning, a combination of neural network strengths with symbolic AI, giving her the ability to interpret resumes and job descriptions accurately. This helps in matching candidates to jobs more effectively.
The recruiter is designed to be composable, meaning its workflows can interconnect seamlessly to form adaptable pipelines for task management. This accommodates changes and optimisations in recruitment tasks without affecting system stability.
Active learning mechanisms are another feature, allowing Megan to continually refine her understanding by assimilating new data that improves her efficiency and alignment with user goals.
A key aspect of Megan's design is an explainable AI framework, which provides transparency and traceability in the recruitment process. This is particularly beneficial for industries requiring high levels of accountability.
In real-world applications, Megan can manage a substantial portion of the hiring duties, up to 78% of frontline tasks such as posting jobs and making offers. This reduces the need for human intervention and lowers recruitment costs.
Applicants benefit from a more transparent hiring process, as Megan maintains consistent communication and keeps candidates informed throughout.
Darren Bounds, Founder and CEO at Mega HR, stated, "Megan isn't just another AI agent; she's a paradigm shift in SaaS. Customers are already spending much less time on our product and more time in Slack, conversing with Megan to get updates and finalize hiring decisions."
