Oracle NetSuite has launched NetSuite QuickStart, a free financial platform for early-stage technology startups. The product is available to eligible startups in the United States.

The service is intended to give founders a financial system from the outset, rather than waiting until they outgrow spreadsheets or small-business accounting products and later migrate to NetSuite.

QuickStart includes tools for accounting, banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and subscription management. According to NetSuite, the platform uses embedded artificial intelligence and AI agents to automate routine finance tasks and surface metrics such as monthly recurring revenue, burn rate, and runway.

Founders can also use Ask Oracle, a conversational assistant built into the product, to query business data and take actions within the system. Through Model Context Protocol, the platform can connect with AI tools already used by startup teams, including ChatGPT and Claude.

Users can set up the service themselves without a conventional implementation process. NetSuite said a startup can connect a bank account, issue a first invoice, and begin viewing financial data in less than 10 minutes.

The launch reflects a broader effort by software companies to win customers earlier in their lifecycle by tying core business processes to generative AI tools. It also marks an attempt by NetSuite to position itself with founders before they adopt rival entry-level finance products.

"As a technology founder, I know from experience that building a company shouldn't mean becoming a finance expert," said Evan Goldberg, Founder and Executive Vice President, Oracle NetSuite.

"QuickStart is designed to handle more of the routine financial work, surface what actually needs a founder's judgment, and provide a financial foundation that can grow with the business, making NetSuite the first and last business system they will ever need," Goldberg said.

QuickStart also provides a route into NetSuite's broader software offering as a startup grows and its financial requirements become more complex. NetSuite has traditionally served companies after they had already adopted simpler accounting systems and reached the limits of those tools.

Early users

One early user cited by NetSuite was Contender AI, a startup whose founder said the platform reduced setup effort and gave the business clearer oversight of its finances.

"From the early days, we knew we needed an AI-native financial platform to enable us to stay laser-focused on our mission," said James Salanitri, Founder and CEO, Contender AI.

"With NetSuite QuickStart, we quickly established the financial foundation we needed without a complicated setup process. AI helps manage routine accounting work, giving us greater visibility into our financials and enabling our small team to focus on growing the business," Salanitri said.

Industry analysts say startup teams are increasingly looking for finance and administration software that removes manual processes rather than adding more standalone systems.

"The next generation of founders increasingly expects AI to automate routine financial and administrative work so teams can stay focused on building the business," said Charles Brennan, Principal Analyst, Nucleus Research.

"For technology startups, the value of this approach is less about adding more software and more about establishing financial discipline early, reducing manual work, and having an ERP environment that can support greater operational complexity as the business scales," Brennan said.

QuickStart is free for eligible early-stage technology startups in the US, though usage limits apply. Those limits include 2,500 new business records a month, 800 emails, 175 new documents each month, 20 GB of document storage, four connected bank and credit card accounts, and two concurrent integration requests, including MCP requests.

NetSuite said more than 44,000 customers use its software across 220 countries and dependent territories.
