Outerlimit has launched a global partner programme for its agentic AI security business, aiming to expand its partner ecosystem for enterprise customers.

The programme brings together value-added resellers, systems integrators, consultancies and technology vendors as Outerlimit broadens its route to market. It is aimed at companies that help businesses deploy and govern agentic AI systems.

The scheme offers a structured path from AI discovery and observability to enforcement at the point where an AI agent takes action. Outerlimit's product is designed to secure agentic AI by applying authorisation controls at the tool execution stage.

The system uses a distributed architecture and cryptographic enforcement when a tool is invoked. Rather than storing credentials, keys or secrets in one place, it fragments them across a network and reconstructs them only when the required identity, policy and execution context have been verified.

The launch reflects a broader push by security suppliers to position themselves in the emerging market for agentic AI, where software agents can carry out tasks with some autonomy. That has created new concerns for enterprise buyers around oversight, authorisation and credential handling.

Partner channels are likely to play a central role in that market because large organisations often rely on integrators and specialist advisers to introduce new security controls. Those partners also tend to influence buying decisions when governance and compliance questions sit alongside technical deployment work.

Daniel Hoy, Director of Partnerships at Outerlimit, outlined the company's view of the challenge facing customers.

"The potential value of agentic AI is undeniable, but we are already seeing the consequences of deploying it without the right controls. To harness this new intelligence, we require a fundamentally new security approach, shifting from delegating authority to identity, and instead delegating authority to policy. These are complex challenges our customers are trying to solve and ones that should not be tackled in isolation. Our partner ecosystem will play a critical role in defining a new security architecture for the agentic era. Today's launch of the Outerlimit Partner Program signals our investment in this ecosystem, helping partners enhance their value proposition, gain competitive advantage, and deliver meaningful value to their customers," said Hoy.

Partner support

The programme includes co-selling support, technical services support, joint go-to-market investment, deal registration and access to a specialist partner team focused on enterprise security and the concerns of security-led buying committees.

The emphasis on channel support suggests Outerlimit is seeking to build market coverage through third parties rather than relying solely on direct sales. For a security supplier targeting large companies, that can help it tap existing customer relationships and support delivery work tied to more complex deployments.

Outerlimit also used the announcement to position its product as an extension of Zero Trust principles to what it calls the agent action layer. In practice, that means linking identity, authorisation and action at the moment an AI system attempts to use a tool or execute a task.

This approach is intended to avoid storing sensitive credentials in a central repository. Instead, access is reconstructed only at the point of execution, once the relevant controls have been checked.

Market push

Outerlimit is backed by cybersecurity investors AlbionVC, Evolution Equity Partners and Crane Venture Partners. The business said it works with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 brands and has offices in London and New York.

Tony Pepper, Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder of Outerlimit, linked the programme to the broader shift in enterprise AI adoption.

"Every major technology shift creates a new technology paradigm. Agentic AI is that next shift. The organisations that help enterprises deploy, govern, and secure these systems will play a defining role in how quickly organisations realise value from AI. Our role is to give partners the tools they need to turn agentic AI security into services, integrations, and customer outcomes," said Pepper.
