Petr Podrouzek named CTO as IP Fabric boosts AI automation focus

Yesterday

Petr Podrouzek has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer at IP Fabric to support the company's focus on automating infrastructure for AI workloads.

Podrouzek joins IP Fabric with over 15 years of experience leading technology teams across multiple regions including the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. In his most recent position, he was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Emplifi, a customer engagement platform serving more than 20,000 companies globally. His previous experience also includes positions at Barclays, providing him with a range of insights related to enterprise technology and scalable architectures.

IP Fabric offers an automated network assurance platform that is currently in use by organisations such as Red Hat, Major League Baseball and Air France. As demand for more resilient, AI-ready networks increases, the company is aiming to scale up its platform for customers around the world. Podrouzek's appointment is seen as a move to accelerate developments in this area and support the company's expansion efforts.

"My leadership philosophy centers on delivering customer value by pairing technical excellence with thorough execution," said Podrouzek. "I focus on hiring the best of the best and fostering transparent communication, ensuring everyone is aligned when running an engineering organization. I've seen this mindset brought to life by the talented engineers and leaders at IP Fabric, and I'm thrilled to join a team obsessed with solving the most important infrastructure challenges of our time."

The announcement of Podrouzek's appointment follows the recent releases of IP Fabric 7.0 and 7.2. These updates have brought enhancements such as multi-cloud visibility, improved assurance for AI-driven workflows, and automated validation of security controls. The company anticipates that with Podrouzek's leadership, there will be an acceleration in the pace of new product capability introductions, particularly as enterprise demand grows for solutions able to address the scale, performance, and compliance demands associated with AI technologies.

Pavel Bykov, Chief Executive Officer of IP Fabric, commented on the appointment:

"As AI transforms the way networks are designed, automated and secured, organizations need platforms that deliver both visibility and assurance at scale," said Pavel Bykov, CEO of IP Fabric. "Petr's deep expertise in AI and enterprise systems makes him the right leader to accelerate our innovation and guide customers into the AI era."

IP Fabric is currently planning to hire additional staff in engineering, finance, operations, sales, and business development to support its global expansion and ongoing development of infrastructure assurance products. The expansion comes amid a wider trend among enterprises to increase investment in IT transformation as they aim to manage risk, optimise costs, and comply with evolving regulations in the context of AI adoption and network modernisation.

Podrouzek's track record across diverse markets and his previous roles in AI and data teams are seen as relevant experience for IP Fabric's current focus. The company's platform provides enterprises with a consolidated view of their cloud, network, and security systems, and includes automated intent checks to reveal operational information and identify potential risks.

With ongoing pressure on organisations to maintain stable, secure, and cost-effective network systems, the company's plans under Podrouzek are expected to further enhance its capacity to deliver solutions for large and complex enterprise environments.
