Plaud unveils all-in-one platform for omnichannel note taking

Mon, 13th Oct 2025

Plaud has introduced its Developer Platform, providing APIs and SDKs that enable businesses and developers to integrate and automate note-taking within their own technology ecosystems.

The platform is designed for organisations across various sectors, including sales, healthcare, consulting, legal, finance, and education. By supporting the capture and utilisation of conversational intelligence from both in-person and online interactions, Plaud aims to address what it describes as a significant gap in current conversational AI offerings.

Focus on conversation intelligence

Plaud maintains that while many existing tools focus primarily on virtual meetings, their Developer Platform offers a unified approach. This focus ensures businesses can securely capture, extract, and embed insights from any human interaction, regardless of whether it takes place in person or remotely.

The company highlights a widespread business challenge where professionals lose valuable time to manual documentation. Plaud states that organisations across industries are increasingly seeking technology to "turn conversations into actionable intelligence" and reduce information lost through fragmented processes and tools.

The Plaud Developer Platform was created to meet this demand, delivering full-stack APIs and SDKs that allow organisations to securely capture, extract, and embed conversation intelligence directly into workflows. So that businesses and developers can free teams to focus on what truly matters: creating value.

All-scenario note capture

The Developer Platform supports both face-to-face and virtual interactions, using Plaud's hardware devices-Plaud Note Pro, Plaud Note, and Plaud NotePin-for in-person conversations, and the Plaud Meeting Bot for online meetings. According to Plaud, the devices are triggered with a single press and can be used in a range of environments, while the Meeting Bot integrates with platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams via a single API.

The transcription capabilities, Plaud claims, span 112 languages and are designed to provide live transcription, speaker diarisation, custom vocabulary options, and automatic formatting. The solution also includes professional-grade templates and offers outputs such as multidimensional summaries, which are tailored for roles including sales, management, and leadership.

Organisations can deploy the Plaud APIs in the cloud or, for greater data control, self-host them using Plaud SDKs. Output data, including transcripts, summaries, and metadata, are formatted in JSON, enabling integration with a wide range of enterprise systems such as CRMs and EHRs.

Use cases and customer impact

Plaud reports that its Developer Platform has driven measurable improvements for early customers. For example, Donna, a sales intelligence agent, has reported a three-fold increase in enterprise deal closures, while a large dental provider reduced documentation and support ticket times by 90 per cent. A real estate firm noted improvements in transcription accuracy by 30 per cent, alongside a tripling of conversion rates.

Plaud isn't just "another online meeting note taker" - it's the first true omnichannel conversational intelligence platform.

Security and compliance

The company claims the platform has been built with an emphasis on trust and data security. Compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and EN18031 standards is in place, supporting both cloud-based and self-hosted deployments. Plaud's SDKs are intended to provide speed and reliability for developers, while enterprises are able to retain full control over their data.

Plaid describes its mission as the creation of next-generation intelligence infrastructure and interfaces for capturing, extracting, and utilising intelligence, and highlights the combination of hardware and software as central to its approach.

At its core, the vision is inspiring: build the next generation of intelligence infrastructure and interface to capture, extract, and utilise intelligence through the combination of hardware and software.
