Reco has raised an additional USD $55 million, with participation from AT&T Ventures.

The latest investment brings Reco's total funding to USD $140 million. The company plans to use the capital to expand sales, partnerships, channels and customer support.

The funding comes as large companies increase their use of artificial intelligence agents across applications, collaboration tools, browsers, copilots and automated workflows. Demand has risen among Fortune 500 businesses seeking greater oversight of how those agents connect to data, identities and business systems, according to Reco.

Research cited by Reco points to rapid growth in this area. Gartner has forecast that the average global Fortune 500 enterprise will have more than 150,000 agents in use by 2028, up from fewer than 15 in 2025.

That growth is creating new security and management challenges for corporate technology teams. Reco focuses on helping those teams identify which agents are active, what permissions they hold, which systems and data they can access, and which workflows they can trigger.

Enterprise demand

Agents are increasingly gaining access to sensitive data and core systems through OAuth grants, API connections, service accounts, browser sessions, MCP tools and AI features already embedded in workplace software, Reco said. In that environment, a single agent may appear low risk on its own while still creating broader exposure through its links to other tools and permissions.

Reco said its system maps relationships between agents, identities, applications, permissions, data and workflows, allowing security teams to identify unnecessary access and reduce or remove risk. The platform is built around what the company calls the Reco Graph.

Its software also integrates with hundreds of AI providers and enterprise applications, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Workday. Those connections are intended to help customers apply oversight in the systems where agents are already in use.

Market researchers are also projecting rapid growth in spending on this type of software. Grand View Research estimated the global agentic AI security market was worth USD $1.3 billion in 2025 and said it could reach USD $17.8 billion by 2033.

AT&T role

AT&T Ventures joined the round as a strategic investor, and AT&T is also a Reco customer. That dual role featured prominently in Reco's account of the investment.

"Agents are gaining access to business applications and data faster than many organizations can map or govern those connections," said Ofer Klein, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Reco. "AT&T's participation as both a customer and strategic investor reflects the need for security that follows agents across enterprise ecosystems. This funding will help Reco expand sales, partnerships and customer support as more large enterprises move agents into production."

AT&T Ventures described the investment as a response to a broader shift in enterprise technology, saying companies need a better understanding of how AI agents interact with business applications and information.

"As both an investor and customer, AT&T recognizes the growing importance of helping organizations understand and manage how AI agents interact with business applications and data," said Vikram Taneja, Head of AT&T Ventures. "Reco's approach to visibility and governance aligns with the needs we are seeing across enterprises as agent adoption continues to evolve."

A separate comment from AT&T's security leadership pointed to the software's practical uses in a large corporate environment, citing visibility into agent security risk, access management and third-party integrations.

"Reco helps AT&T strengthen governance across our enterprise apps and AI ecosystem by providing greater visibility into agent security risk, access management, and third-party integrations," said Rich Baich, Chief Information Security Officer, AT&T. "This insight enables better decision-making, improves audit readiness, and supports our commitment to securing innovation across the enterprise."

Reco said its platform includes more than 280 app integrations and 1,000 detection controls. It is aimed at enterprises trying to manage a growing number of third-party tools, AI services and automated workflows without disrupting legitimate activity.
