Rimini Street joins GSA Schedule, saving US agencies up to 50%

Fri, 15th Aug 2025

Rimini Street has secured a place on the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule, allowing U.S. government agencies to access its Oracle, SAP and VMware support and security services directly.

This development means U.S. federal, state, local and tribal government bodies can now select and procure Rimini Street's support solutions via the GSA Schedule. This listing is expected to streamline procurement procedures and offer government agencies potential annual maintenance fee savings of up to 50% compared to standard software vendor costs.

Rimini Street, which provides enterprise software support and management solutions globally, stated that it has already helped clients save almost USD $10 billion, a sum redirected towards both cost savings and new technology investments.

Offer details

The services provided by Rimini Street include full coverage support for current Oracle, SAP and VMware software releases, guaranteed for up to 15 years from the contract signing with no obligation for clients to upgrade or migrate to new platforms or releases within that period.

The company also guarantees a 10-minute engineer response time and a four-hour resolution target for critical cases, available 24 hours a day throughout the year. Support for application customisations is offered at no additional charge as part of the standard service.

Rimini Street maintains a global team comprising more than 1,000 engineers who work as an extension to client IT departments, focusing on maintaining system uptime and optimising software performance. The support includes security solutions aimed at extending the lifespan of existing Oracle, SAP and VMware products, thereby bypassing the need for disruptive vendor-mandated upgrades or migrations solely to remain on a supported platform.

Government objectives

According to Rimini Street, the new arrangement will assist government bodies in managing IT modernisation while also controlling expenditure and maximising staff productivity. The company highlighted its experience in supporting national security and military clients, in addition to other public sector agencies worldwide.

"Government agencies are on a mission to modernise IT, maximise labor productivity and reduce costs. Rimini Street has a strong track record of partnering with government agencies all over the world and across the U.S., including national security and military clients, to achieve this mission," said Seth Ravin, CEO of Rimini Street. "Rimini Street can help government agencies securely achieve cost and labor savings while enabling the investment of more funds into the latest technologies such as workflow, task automation and AI to improve operations, outcomes and citizen experiences."

The comprehensive support service mitigates some common pain points faced by large agencies and departments, especially relating to software lifecycle management and regulatory compliance, according to the company.

Background

Rimini Street offers a portfolio of solutions designed to help organisations operate, manage, support, customise, secure and optimise their enterprise application, database and technology software. The company has contracts with a range of clients, including Fortune Global 100 and Fortune 500 companies, midmarket firms and public sector organisations, which Rimini Street states have realised billions of US dollars in savings and reallocated funds to technology and innovation investments, including artificial intelligence.

The company's inclusion in the GSA Schedule is expected to provide U.S. government agencies with a wider selection of procurement options for critical software support and related security services.
