SMACT Works doubles US workforce amid major cloud & AI push

Thu, 20th Nov 2025

SMACT Works has increased its investment in cloud, data, and artificial intelligence capabilities, coupled with a significant expansion of its workforce in the United States.

The Dublin-based Oracle consulting partner now has twice as many employees in the US after recruiting specialisations in AI, machine learning, cloud architecture, and advanced analytics during 2025.

The company, which provides Oracle-focused advisory and consulting services, has also been recognised for both growth and workplace culture, having secured a top spot in regional workplace awards and another appearance on a national growth listing.

AI in operations

SMACT Works' strategy centres on intelligent automation and predictive analytics. Its proprietary AI accelerators underpin a new approach to consulting and implementation, where machine learning is used to streamline support and reduce response times.

Predictive models examine historical project data, helping teams to anticipate risks early and address issues before they escalate. Resource optimisation algorithms allocate expertise dynamically across project portfolios, targeting improvement in efficiency and outcomes.

Internally, the company is applying AI to automate proposal development and enhance knowledge management. These systems are designed to improve responsiveness and leverage accumulated expertise. The company is using this technology in training and professional development as well, personalising skills pathways for employees and accelerating upskilling processes.

Data and analytics

Complementary to its AI efforts, SMACT Works has developed data accelerator tools that analyse and interpret Oracle ecosystem data for clients. The tools provide analytics frameworks and advanced reporting options to identify performance bottlenecks, usage patterns, and opportunities for optimisation. Data visualisation features are intended to support decision-making for both technical and business leadership.

Cloud frameworks

SMACT Works has created cloud accelerators to streamline migration and reduce implementation risk. These frameworks use automation and pre-built integrations that comply with established best practices for Oracle's cloud applications, IaaS, and PaaS offerings. According to the company, this approach helps organisations adopt cloud platforms with shorter transition periods and less disruption compared to traditional methods.

Workforce expansion

The company's decision to double its US workforce follows its emphasis on developing proprietary technology accelerators. New hires add expertise in AI, analytics, and cloud infrastructure, a move the company states is necessary to meet the technical requirements of enterprise clients. The company's ongoing investments in talent come alongside its ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications, and it maintains a global delivery operation across North America and Asia.

Market demand

SMACT Works was listed at number 2,957 on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies, marking its fourth consecutive appearance. It also received recognition as the leading small company in Central Ohio's Best Places to Work 2025. Both accolades underline growing market demand and the company's internal workplace standards.

"The technology landscape is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and our investments in cloud, data, and AI accelerators ensure we're not just keeping pace- we're leading," said Ranjith Yengoti, CEO, SMACT Works.

"Our accelerators aren't just about speed- they're about delivering better outcomes through smarter approaches. By investing in these capabilities, we're helping clients leverage the full potential of modern Oracle technologies while building more agile, data-driven organizations," said Yengoti.
