TrueConf named Innovator in 2025 Aragon report for AI focus

TrueConf has been recognised in the Innovator section of the Aragon Research Globe for Intelligent Video Conferencing 2025.

The annual report from Aragon Research examines 16 notable providers in the unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) sector. It offers analysis of current market conditions, key technology trends, and vendor strengths within the video conferencing market.

This is the fourth consecutive year that TrueConf has been named as an Innovator by Aragon Research. The research firm issues its Globe report each year, providing organisations with insight to inform their technology-related decisions.

TrueConf's inclusion in the Innovator category is attributed to its ongoing development of artificial intelligence-powered solutions, a focus on its technology roadmap, and its vision for enterprise communication.

Aragon Research evaluated vendors based on the shift in product strategies and market demands for integrated communication platforms. TrueConf's recent updates to its flagship product, TrueConf Server, marked a significant milestone as it transitioned to a team messaging platform with embedded video conferencing. This updated version includes a free offering for up to 1,000 users.

The features of the integrated messenger have been expanded in this release. According to the company, these enhancements aim to bridge the gap between video conferencing and corporate chat functions, while prioritising security and reliability for critical communications.

Video conferencing capability remains a core part of TrueConf's development. The company highlighted its distributed conferencing technology, introduced to address the needs of organisations with multiple subsidiaries and branches. This technology enables a reduction in server CPU and network load by approximately ten times during multi-server calls, while allowing each conference to scale up to 2,000 participants or more.

Artificial intelligence was singled out as a major influence in the 2025 Aragon Research Globe, particularly in terms of how intelligent assistants are reshaping productivity in unified communications. In alignment with this trend, TrueConf launched its on-premises TrueConf AI Server. This tool offers features such as automatic offline meeting transcription and the ability to generate meeting summaries, covering assigned tasks and identifying responsible personnel.
