Vertice has launched a procure-to-pay product, extending its platform beyond intake-to-procure. The addition creates a single record linking requests, contracts, invoices and payments.

The product covers invoice capture and processing, purchase order matching, spend controls and payments. It places payment information alongside the original request, approvals, negotiation history and contract, giving finance and accounts payable teams a broader view of each transaction.

Vertice, headquartered in London and New York, said the aim is to reduce the value lost after contracts are signed when finance teams have limited visibility of purchase orders and invoices. It cited research from World Commerce & Contracting showing that more than 10% of contract value is lost after signature through missed early-payment discounts and weaker payment terms.

The launch marks a push by Vertice further into finance operations, as software providers seek to connect procurement, contracting and payment processes on a single system. The company is combining its existing intake and procurement workflows with accounts payable functions and payment data.

According to Vertice, the platform draws on a procurement intelligence dataset covering USD $75 billion of spend across 32,000 vendors. That information gives finance teams market context on supplier pricing and terms, which can support budgeting, working capital management and supplier negotiations.

The product also includes artificial intelligence tools for invoice processing. Vertice said its invoice agents classify documents, extract data, reconcile invoices against purchase orders, contract terms and budgets, and add general ledger codes and audit trails.

Early users have applied the system to resolve invoice discrepancies, capture early-payment discounts and adjust budgets when supplier pricing changes, according to the company. It added that customers achieved faster payment cycles, better supplier terms or more accurate cost forecasts for more than 80% of suppliers processed through the product.

Eldar Tuvey, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Vertice, said the product is intended to address the gap between procurement decisions and payment execution.

"More than 10% of contract value leaks away after signature through missed early payment discounts and suboptimal payment terms. Finance teams can't protect value if all they can see is a PO and an invoice. We are giving Finance the visibility, context and automation they need to easily plug these leaks. They can generate real strategic value for their businesses by accelerating innovation, removing discrepancies, optimizing spend and budgeting much more accurately," said Eldar Tuvey, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Vertice.

Market view

The wider market for procurement software has increasingly focused on linking spend management with contract data and finance workflows. Vendors are using automation and artificial intelligence to handle routine tasks such as invoice processing, approvals and reconciliation, while seeking to provide a clearer audit trail across the purchasing lifecycle.

Patrick Reymann, Research Director - Procurement Applications and Agents at IDC, said Vertice's existing position in intake-to-procure provided context for the latest expansion.

"Vertice has established a clear reputation for innovation, user experience and commercial outcomes in Intake-to-Procure, even being named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape. This position was based in no small part on the context they are able to deliver with their proprietary procurement intelligence dataset. Bringing this to the Procure-to-Pay process is the next logical step, and has the potential to be differentiating," said Patrick Reymann, Research Director - Procurement Applications and Agents at IDC.

Vertice said its platform is used by customers in more than 100 countries, including Arm, Brex, Duolingo, Twilio and Santander.
