Avanade has launched its Agentic Platform, targeting mid-market businesses seeking tangible outcomes from artificial intelligence initiatives. The new platform is designed to support organisations with annual revenues between USD $300 million and USD $5 billion that have so far struggled to realise productivity or profit gains from AI projects.
Platform aims
The Agentic Platform includes a library of pre-built, industry-specific agents and templates that can be integrated with existing tools, such as those built on Microsoft technologies. The platform is discoverable through Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, and will soon be available via Microsoft Agent 365.
With its introduction, Avanade seeks to help firms automate repetitive tasks, enhance customer engagement, and deliver business insights for increased efficiency and profitability. The company cites examples of its AI solutions saving 7,000 hours at recruitment specialist Page Group and reducing customer response times by 90% at Japan Airlines.
Three core functions
The company highlights three main features. The first is speed-to-value, with ready-to-use agents and templates intended to reduce complexity, cost, and time to deployment. The second is trust at scale, offering a governed, human resources-inspired management approach aimed at encouraging collaboration and reliability as AI adoption increases. The third is insight-driven return on investment, with integrated analytics designed to measure impact and help optimise business performance.
Industry perspectives
"The Avanade Agentic Platform helps organizations turn AI ambition into real business impact - faster, safely, and with confidence," said Aaron Reich, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, Avanade.
The platform builds on Avanade's decade of experience in applied AI, specifically referencing its partnership with Microsoft and prior client results in multiple sectors. By aligning its technology with existing Microsoft platforms, Avanade aims to assist companies in deriving greater value from their AI investments and to overcome barriers to scale and measurable results.
Jeroen Buwalda, Group Executive Technology, Transformation and Operations at Colonial First State, said, "The pace of change in Generative AI has been extraordinary, making it challenging to stay abreast of developments and assess where to focus investment for meaningful business outcomes. Avanade brought in a global team of experts who helped us understand both the potential and the limitations of GenAI, guided us through safe and structured experimentation, and provided a clear roadmap for realising tangible value."
According to Avanade, the platform is intended to support organisations at all levels of AI maturity, from early experimentation to broader transformation efforts.
Microsoft partnership
Jonathan Hunt, Corporate Vice President, AI Business Solutions at Microsoft, said, "Avanade's Agentic Platform exemplifies how Microsoft and our partners are turning AI's potential into real-world impact. By bringing together Microsoft developer platforms designed to build, customize, and deploy AI-powered solutions and Avanade's applied AI expertise, we're helping organizations of every size build the confidence, agility, and trust needed to thrive in the age of intelligent business."
