Corvus Robotics names McSpedon Chief Revenue Officer

Fri, 16th Jan 2026

Corvus Robotics has appointed Michael McSpedon as Chief Revenue Officer as the company expands sales of its autonomous inventory drone system across US warehouses.

McSpedon joins the Mountain View-based robotics firm as demand grows for automated inventory management among retail, manufacturing and logistics operators. Corvus said its drones operate in more than 25 states and it counts "dozens" of Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies among its customers.

The company sells the Corvus One autonomous inventory management system. Corvus said the product carries out warehouse inventory audits using autonomous drones. Corvus said the system gathers inventory data while reducing disruption for warehouse teams.

Corvus said McSpedon will lead its commercial strategy. The company linked the hire to plans to expand recurring revenue among large customers.

Sales background

McSpedon previously held revenue leadership roles in supply chain and software businesses. Most recently, Corvus said, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Trustwell, a supply chain traceability company. Corvus said Trustwell later completed an acquisition.

Before Trustwell, McSpedon worked as Chief Revenue Officer at Overhaul, which Corvus described as a hardware-enabled supply chain visibility platform. Corvus said he helped grow annual recurring revenue from USD $15 million to USD $82 million. The company said he also expanded the customer base by more than 10 times.

Earlier in his career, McSpedon served as GM and Head of Sales at GlobalView Software, which Corvus described as a physical commodities software company. Corvus said GlobalView grew revenue from USD $3 million to more than USD $120 million in annual recurring revenue for its ETRM platform during his tenure.

Corvus also said McSpedon was Vice President of Sales at project44, which it described as a supply chain visibility platform for shippers. Corvus said he contributed to its growth among strategic accounts.

Corvus framed the appointment as part of a wider build-out of its commercial organisation. The company said it is strengthening structures for larger customer rollouts, faster onboarding and deeper relationships with large enterprises.

The company also pointed to a shift in its business from early deployments to broader adoption. It said it is scaling multiple form factors of autonomous systems.

Executive comments

Corvus Chief Executive Jackie Wu said the company wanted a commercial leader with experience across supply chain technology and hardware-enabled software.

"Michael's track record of building scalable revenue engines and earning enterprise trust makes him the right leader to help Corvus grow," said Jackie Wu, CEO, Corvus Robotics.

Wu also pointed to the company's current footprint and customer base.

"His experience across hardware-enabled software platforms and enterprise supply chain scale-ups aligns well with our expanding deployments and customer base," said Wu.

McSpedon said he expects more companies to adopt physical AI in logistics environments. He also described how he sees the Corvus product in customer operations.

"I'm excited to join Corvus as real-world physical AI adoption accelerates across national enterprise footprints," said McSpedon.

He added: "Corvus's unique ability to quickly deliver operational value to customers while also being a data flywheel for robotics in real-world supply chain environments sets it apart. I look forward to partnering with customers and the Corvus team to accelerate adoption and support the company's next stage of growth," said McSpedon.

Corvus said McSpedon will take charge of revenue generation as the company increases deployments with large organisations in North America.
