Dovetail announces Insight Out 2025: AI & product innovation at its best

Dovetail has announced the return of its Insight Out conference in 2025, featuring a range of discussions on user research, artificial intelligence, and product innovation.

The Insight Out conference, now in its second year, targets customer-centric product teams and will host speakers from leading companies such as Microsoft AI, Atlassian, and OpenAI, who will discuss emerging trends in product design, research, and customer experience.

The event is scheduled to take place on April 23-24, 2025, at Fort Mason in San Francisco, accommodating 1,000 in-person attendees while offering online participation to over 20,000 individuals globally. Discussions will revolve around AI advancements, design and research automation, and the trajectory of customer-focused innovation.

This year's edition will highlight usability pioneer Dr. Jakob Nielsen, praised for his significant contributions to digital interface design. Nielsen will converse with Felix Lee, Co-founder and CEO of ADPList, regarding the intersection of human interaction and AI, the incorporation of user experience methodologies with AI, and the future landscape of usability.

The programme will introduce a multi-track agenda that targets professionals in customer experience, design, research, and product development. The first day includes workshops, interactive sessions, and opportunities to gain Dovetail certification. These sessions are crafted for all skill levels and will provide insight into current tools and technologies that are redefining organisational approaches to customer understanding.

On the second day, representatives from leading companies like Microsoft AI, Atlassian, and Chick-fil-A will present on pivotal trends affecting the future of product innovation with a customer-centric focus. Keynotes, panels, and debates will explore themes such as the AI revolution, the evolution of customer insights, and transformations in product craftsmanship.

The roster of confirmed speakers includes Jakob Nielsen, Ph.D., UX Tigers Founder; Jess Holbrook, Microsoft AI Head of UX Research; Sarah Karp, Atlassian Head of Design; Sara Caldwell, OpenAI Head of GTM Readiness; Khalia M. Braswell, Lead UX Researcher at Chick-fil-A; Kaleb Loosbrock, Instacart Staff Researcher; Felix Lee, Co-founder & CEO of ADPList; Jonathan Widawski, Maze Founder and CEO; Michael Fox, Co-Founder and CEO of Fable; Patrick Thompson, Clarify Co-CEO; Surbhi Rathore, Symbl Co-founder and CEO; Lacey Picazo, CEO of ZoCo Design; and Chris Abad, Host of the Pixelated Path and former Google Director of UX.
