
Dr Lisa Su to open CES 2026 with keynote on AI & computing
Dr Lisa Su, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of AMD, has been announced as the opening keynote speaker for CES 2026, where she will address the impact of artificial intelligence across various technology sectors.
The Consumer Technology Association has confirmed that Dr Su will deliver her keynote on the role of AI in transforming industries in the Palazzo Ballroom at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Her remarks are expected to provide an overview of AMD's approach to AI solutions spanning cloud, enterprise, edge, and consumer devices.
Keynote focus
Dr Su will focus on the AMD portfolio of products and solutions, including central processing units (CPUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), adaptive computing technologies, and AI software. She is set to discuss how these tools empower both customers and partners to address key global challenges using AI and high-performance computing.
According to the Consumer Technology Association, CES 2026 will feature a broadened keynote programme, with Dr Su returning to highlight AMD's ongoing role in the advancement of artificial intelligence. The event's organisers referred to her as a returning keynote speaker with global recognition and a notable track record in high-performance computing.

Dr Su is expected to expand on how AMD technology, including EPYC processors for data centres, Instinct GPUs, Ryzen CPUs, and Radeon graphics for AI-powered PCs and gaming, contributes to advancements in computing and artificial intelligence. Her keynote is also anticipated to cover the company's direction in open collaboration with industry leaders and application developers, enabling the deployment of advanced AI solutions.
Vision and mission
Dr Su, who was recently named TIME's 2024 CEO of the Year and appeared on Fortune's list of the 100 Most Powerful People in Business, commented on the significance of the event for the technology sector.
