Fidelity Bank has launched MANTL Loan Origination from Alkami, with the system going live in less than three months across the Pennsylvania bank's branch and digital lending channels.

The rollout covers personal and vehicle loans, giving Fidelity Bank a single origination process across its 21 branches and online channels. It replaces separate legacy systems and introduces a connected online borrowing journey for consumer lending.

Fidelity Bank already used Alkami's digital banking products and has now extended that relationship into lending. The bank sought greater automation and a more efficient operating model, while also adding an online borrowing option alongside in-branch service.

Under the new setup, underwriting, fraud prevention and credit decisioning are handled on one platform. The system also includes identity verification, configurable workflows and straight-through processing designed to reduce manual work for branch staff and support teams.

The change is intended to shift time away from data entry and toward customer-facing work in branches. It also affects Bank Secrecy Act and underwriting teams, which can move applications through the process more efficiently.

"MANTL delivers a faster, more seamless lending experience while preserving the personalized service that defines Fidelity Bank. This investment strengthens both the client experience and our operational efficiency," said Daniel J. Santaniello, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank.

Fidelity Bank operates 21 full-service offices across Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lehigh and Northampton counties in Pennsylvania, along with a commercial office in Luzerne County and a wealth management office in Schuylkill County. The lending overhaul therefore affects both digital channels and a sizeable branch footprint in its regional market.

The project also reflects a broader trend among regional and community banks to replace older loan origination systems with integrated software. Consumer lenders have faced pressure to offer a more consistent experience across mobile, web and branch channels while tightening internal controls and reducing manual processing.

Ruth Turkington, Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at Fidelity Bank, said speed is central to customer service in lending.

"Service equates to speed when delivering an exceptional client experience. By unifying our digital and in-person lending experience, we're making it easier for clients to access financing while allowing our bankers to focus on building relationships," she said.

For Alkami, the Fidelity Bank deployment adds another reference point for MANTL Loan Origination in the consumer lending market. The company has been expanding beyond digital banking into adjacent banking workflows, including account opening and loan origination, as banks look to reduce disconnected systems.

Benjamin Conant, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Alkami, linked the implementation to that shift away from older technology.

"Fidelity Bank's implementation reflects the accelerating momentum behind MANTL Loan Origination as more financial institutions seek to modernize consumer lending rather than navigate the complexity of legacy systems," said Benjamin Conant, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Alkami. "Going live in a few months demonstrates how motivated and engaged financial institutions can rapidly deploy a modern lending platform that improves operational efficiency while delivering a modern digital experience borrowers do not often get from regional and community financial institutions, creating a meaningful competitive differentiator in a market increasingly shaped by digital-first expectations."
