Great Demo! & PearlRain launch US push for Indian SaaS
Wed, 26th Aug 2026 (Today)
Great Demo! has partnered with PearlRain Digital to launch an India Services initiative for Indian SaaS companies targeting US buyers. The venture aims to improve market readiness and sales conversations for companies seeking growth in the United States.
The offering is designed for software companies that have already built products for international markets but need more support in how they position those products and conduct buyer discussions with US customers. The work will focus on positioning, discovery, demonstrations, value communication and sales execution.
Indian software companies have expanded rapidly in recent years, with many looking to the US as a key source of larger contract values and longer-term growth. That shift has increased the importance of adapting sales and presales approaches to buyers who often expect clearer business cases, tighter stakeholder alignment and stronger justification for investment decisions.
PearlRain Digital will provide advisory support on go-to-market strategy and US market readiness, while Great Demo! will contribute its sales conversation and demonstration methodology. The initiative is intended to help firms improve deal conversion and build more repeatable customer-facing processes.
At the centre of Great Demo!'s approach is a method it describes as "Do the Last Thing First," which starts with the buyer outcome rather than a broad walk-through of product features. The model emphasises discovery and linking product discussions to business priorities and measurable impact.
Sales challenge
The partnership reflects a wider issue facing Indian SaaS groups as they move from product development into overseas commercial expansion. Selling into the US often requires more than technical fit, particularly in enterprise deals where several stakeholders may be involved and buying cycles can stretch over months.
Vivek Viswanathan, Founder of PearlRain Digital, said Indian software firms often face a communication gap rather than a product gap when they pursue US customers.
"Indian SaaS companies have built products that can compete globally. The challenge is increasingly about how effectively they communicate that value to a U.S. buyer," Viswanathan said.
"A product may solve a significant problem, but if the sales conversation does not uncover the right business priorities, quantify the impact or create confidence in the decision, opportunities can stall. Our partnership with Great Demo! is aimed at helping companies bridge that gap as they scale into the U.S.," he added.
Great Demo! cited examples from previous client engagements to illustrate the commercial changes that can follow from tighter discovery and demonstration practices. In one case involving re:Members, close rates rose from 29.6% to 73.2% in one quarter, while the average sales cycle fell from 190 days to 99 days.
In another engagement with a secure communications provider serving national security and government operations, a more disciplined process around discovery, stakeholder alignment and value communication generated USD $636,000 in revenue impact within 90 days. That total comprised USD $376,000 in closed revenue and USD $260,000 in active pipeline.
US expansion
The new initiative is aimed at Indian SaaS companies that want to enter the US market, improve an existing presence or increase sales momentum there. The work will cover the full span of customer-facing execution, from early buyer conversations to demonstrations and deal progression.
Paul H. Pearce, President of Great Demo!, said the challenge for many vendors lies in helping buyers build enough confidence to act.
"U.S. buyers are not simply evaluating whether a product works. They are evaluating whether the problem is important enough to solve, whether the proposed change will create measurable value and whether they can confidently make the decision," Pearce said.
"Indian SaaS companies have tremendous technology and innovation. We want to help them translate that strength into buyer conversations that create clarity, confidence and momentum," he added.
Pearce has held leadership roles in sales, presales, field enablement and business development for more than two decades, including a previous post as Global Vice President of Solution Consulting at Ellucian. His work now centres on discovery, demonstrations, value communication and customer-facing execution across organisations in multiple markets.
For PearlRain Digital, the arrangement adds a specialist sales execution layer to its work on positioning and market-entry strategy. For Great Demo!, it creates a route into India's SaaS sector at a time when more local software companies are looking beyond domestic demand and seeking to build durable revenue in overseas markets.
The initiative is intended to help Indian SaaS businesses turn product strength into stronger commercial outcomes in the United States.
