HireQuotient has integrated its recruiting software with Paylocity, targeting employers in frontline industries.

The integration brings HireQuotient's EasySource product into Paylocity's HR and payroll system for customers in manufacturing, building services, construction, healthcare and insurance.

Recruiters in those sectors often rely on multiple external platforms to source applicants, review CVs, find contact details and carry out follow-up work. HireQuotient said that process can consume more than two-thirds of recruiters' time, contributing to data gaps and burnout.

The new arrangement is intended to keep more of that work within a single workflow. The software can identify potential candidates, screen for credentials and licences, and tailor outreach by phone and email.

HireQuotient said employers with 500 to 1,000 staff have cut time-to-hire by 70% using the product, with estimated annual savings of USD $100,000.

The partnership focuses on sectors with large deskless workforces, where recruiting often requires checks for specific certifications and rapid hiring across dispersed locations. Those areas have drawn less attention from AI-led recruiting tools than office-based hiring functions.

One feature feeds post-hire data back into the recruiting process so searches can be refined based on previous successful hires. HireQuotient said this allows recruiters to spend more time on interviews and candidate relationships rather than repetitive administrative tasks.

According to HireQuotient, Paylocity runs a selective partner network, and the deal gives the recruiting software company access to a broad base of mid-market employers already using Paylocity for human resources and payroll.

Customers in regulated and labour-intensive industries described practical gains from the software.

"By simply putting in vetting criteria, I was able to get a very specific talent pool within a day," said Niki Simoneaux, Chief Operating Officer, Arc Health. "With EasySource, we can reach a huge database or filter for specific licenses and areas."

Another user pointed to the wider geographical reach available to recruiters.

"With technology and the ability to work remotely, we're able to recruit nationwide outside of our footprint. This expands the pool of prospective candidates and gives us access to candidates who might not have ever applied for a position on our website's career page," said Jeff McGee, Vice President, W3 Insurance.

A third customer said the software had reduced hiring times for building services roles.

"HireQuotient's AI-native product helped my team at Alliance Building Services cut time to close positions by more than 60%, and their team works very closely with the client to ensure adoption at scale," said Willow Marcon, Senior Vice President, Alliance Building Services.

Partner network

HireQuotient Founder and Chief Executive Officer Smarthveer Sidana said the integration also addresses a retention issue for HR software providers when employers rely on too many separate recruiting tools.

"Paylocity maintains an elite partner network, so being named one of them is a testament to the strength of our product," said Smarthveer Sidana, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, HireQuotient. "By keeping that recruiting activity inside the Paylocity ecosystem, we're helping them close a critical gap for their employers, capture revenue that previously sat outside their platform, and prevent the client churn that comes with a fragmented hiring process."

External backers and advisers also framed the move as validation of the company's focus on frontline hiring.

"Smarthveer is one of those rare founders who picks an unglamorous, deeply underserved market and refuses to leave until it's fixed. Frontline hiring is exactly that market. Being named to Paylocity's elite partner network is a testament to his relentlessness and to the team he's built. Excited for what's ahead," said Gokul Rajaram, Board Member, Coinbase and Former Board Member, The Trade Desk.

Jim Moffatt, a Board Partner at Greycroft VC and former Global Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Consulting, described the integration as the result of a lengthy review process.

"This is a big milestone for Smarthveer and his team. I congratulate them on this big win. Paylocity's large client base acts as strong distribution, and HireQuotient's EasySource is a strong product to meet the needs of Paylocity's clients. Paylocity is known for its highly selective approach, and I'm glad to see that after months of evaluation and extensive due diligence, they're going live with HireQuotient's EasySource. I feel confident in the value this partnership will create for frontline industries. I remember when Smarthveer spoke to me about it in December, and it felt very ambitious. I'm glad to see it turn to reality," said Jim Moffatt.
