Kore.ai launches AI platform for enterprise workflow automation
Kore.ai has announced the launch of AI for Process, a no-code platform designed to transform enterprise workflow automation and optimisation.
The platform allows enterprises to build, deploy, and manage AI agents or Agentic Apps at scale, which can comprehend context to make decisions and conduct complex workflows. It is compatible with multiple cloud services and AI models, offering customisable tools and easy integration with various systems to enhance enterprise processes.
Traditional process automation has shown limitations, particularly in decision-making and scalability, a gap AI for Process aims to fill by shifting from rules-based to intelligent process orchestration.
AI for Process introduces Agentic RAG, a system that integrates advanced retrieval with agent orchestration, enhancing accuracy and understanding while maintaining data security and compliance standards.
Gartner forecasts that by 2028, agentic AI will form part of 33% of enterprise software applications. AI for Process positions itself as a new class of automation featuring capabilities such as the Intelligent Agent Framework, comprising agents for various functions. The platform's Orchestrator Agent coordinates workflows; Reasoning Agents address complex decisions; Task Agents automate workflows, and Knowledge and API Agents handle data and integration, respectively. Its sophisticated evaluation framework assesses agent performance, execution plans, and potential risks.
The platform provides a no-code development environment featuring a visual designer, pre-built templates, and tools for testing, validation, and deployment management, facilitating easy creation and modification of workflows.
AI for Process also includes an Enterprise Integration Hub, allowing integration with commercial or open-source language models and major cloud providers without vendor lock-in. It provides pre-built connectors for data sources and APIs, with real-time data synchronisation across systems.
The Human-in-the-Loop feature allows human intervention in automated workflows, ensuring asynchronous human approvals and inputs are naturally integrated within processes.
Security is assured through data anonymisation, protection against certain attacks, and compliance measures via centralised governance and AI guardrails.
Raj Koneru, CEO & Founder of Kore.ai, stated, "Traditional enterprise process automation was limited by rigid, rule-based systems lacking any autonomy. With the advent of advanced AI models capable of evaluation and reasoning, we're ushering in a new era where intelligent AI agents can independently manage business processes, reducing over-reliance on human support. AI for Process enables enterprises to design scalable, reliable Agentic Apps that redefine efficiency while elevating humans into more strategic, supervisory roles."
The platform reports significant efficiencies for its customers, achieving faster processing, cost savings, and reducing human oversight. Use cases include customer support enhancements, loan processing, and KYC, among others.
One North American healthcare provider reported a notable decrease in their average handle time and an improvement in call wrap accuracy, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
Prasanna Arikala, CTO and Head of Products at Kore.ai, commented, "The future of enterprise operations lies in AI agents collaborating to manage and optimise processes under human supervision. These agents will operate autonomously, seamlessly discovering and working with each other. Achieving this vision requires a robust AI agent platform integrating autonomous agents, advanced knowledge retrieval, and intelligent orchestration. With AI for Process, we're delivering these future-ready capabilities today."
