Kore.ai partners with Microsoft to boost enterprise AI adoption

Today

Kore.ai has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Microsoft to deepen integration between Kore.ai's agent platform and Microsoft's cloud and AI services for global enterprise customers.

The newly formalised partnership intends to combine Kore.ai's business-focused conversational and generative AI offerings with Microsoft's hyperscale infrastructure and AI capabilities. This alignment is designed to allow enterprises to quickly deploy AI-powered solutions at a broad scale, while adhering to enterprise security standards.

As part of the collaboration, Kore.ai has been named an Azure IP Co-sell Ready partner. Integrations will now span Microsoft Teams, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot Studio, reflecting a "Better Together" approach aimed at aligning AI-powered solutions with where employees already work, communicate, and conduct daily operations.

The integrated technologies will enable enterprises to access and deploy Kore.ai's Agent platform, as well as pre-configured business solutions, directly within their Microsoft environments. The intention is to provide seamless AI agent functionality to employees within the Microsoft tools they use most frequently.

Kore.ai outlined several specific areas of integration. The AI for Work solution leverages Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat as a user interface, while Kore.ai's platform provides enterprise search, contextual understanding, and domain-specific agents for departments such as HR, IT, and recruiting. Custom citizen agent features will also be available. This configuration is aimed at personalising employee experiences and improving productivity through enhanced enterprise search within Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams.

Agent interoperability is another key area, with agents built on the Kore.ai Agent Platform able to work alongside those built using Microsoft Copilot Studio. These agents will be accessible via Copilot Chat or Microsoft Teams, helping to establish a consistent agent ecosystem throughout the enterprise.

Kore.ai's platform is also now integrated with Azure AI Foundry and related infrastructure services. This integration allows enterprises to build, deploy, and customise Kore.ai agents using both no-code and pro-code options. The expected outcome is an accelerated development and rollout of intelligent agent solutions tailored to each enterprise's needs.

The AI for Service solution connects Kore.ai's AI capabilities to Dynamics 365 CRM, contact centre, and customer service tools. By hosting these solutions on Microsoft Azure, enterprises can meet requirements for scale, privacy, compliance, and governance while implementing digital and voice automation. This is designed to help increase containment rates within customer service channels.

Kore.ai also extends Microsoft Power Automate with advanced agent capabilities for decision-aware process orchestration, allowing enterprises to move beyond simple task automation to implement more intelligent workflows.

Raj Koneru, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kore.ai, said, "Our strategic partnership with Microsoft marks a significant milestone in Kore.ai's mission to make enterprise AI accessible, scalable, and impactful, helping enterprises reimagine their business operations with AI. By integrating deeply with Microsoft technologies, we're empowering customers to unify AI-driven collaboration, automation, and service delivery into one intelligent enterprise layer, delivered securely and at scale—ultimately accelerating their journey from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide transformation."

Kore.ai's existing solutions are already available through the Azure Marketplace, streamlining procurement and deployment for customers. The agreement indicates that Kore.ai will continue to work with Microsoft's Azure Co-sell Program to bring its solutions to more enterprises.

Puneet Chandok, President, Microsoft India and South Asia, commented, "Our strategic partnership with Kore.ai marks a significant milestone in our mission to accelerate enterprise AI transformation. By integrating Kore.ai's advanced conversational and GenAI capabilities with Microsoft's robust cloud and AI services, we are enabling enterprises to adopt AI at scale and with enterprise-grade security. This collaboration will empower businesses to streamline their operations, enhance productivity, and drive innovation across key sectors."

Both companies have stated their intention to empower enterprises with flexible, interoperable, and human-centred AI that provides productivity gains and transforms work processes across organisations.
