Pepper Cloud wins Google AI Award for WhatsApp CRM solution

Pepper Cloud has received the Google AI Trailblazers Transformation Award 2024 for its AI-based WhatsApp Sales CRM solution, which enhances business operations.

As noted by its product marketing manager, Tarun, the Singapore-based company's expansion into major international markets, including the US, UK, Canada, and UAE, marks a significant step. "Pepper Cloud, a homegrown startup, is rapidly expanding its reach across major international markets," Tarun stated.

The company has been actively involved with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) for over four years, providing a Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)-approved digital solution. This collaboration aids small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digital transformation journey by offering CTO-as-a-Service. "Pepper Cloud has been working closely with the IMDA ... helping SMEs embrace digital transformation," said Tarun.

IMDA recently featured Pepper Cloud in a case study that demonstrated the impact of its AI-powered CRM on the operations of a company called 707-Inc. The case study, which highlighted enhanced customer engagement and operational efficiency, was also promoted by IMDA through several marketing channels. Further recognition came from Meta, choosing Pepper Cloud as one of 100 companies to participate in its Llama Incubator Kick-Off event, which delves into the future of Generative AI. This initiative was supported by Meta, along with AI Singapore, SGInnovate, and the Singapore Economic Development Board. "Recognised by Meta: Pepper Cloud was handpicked to participate in Meta's exclusive Llama Incubator Kick-Off event," Tarun stated.

Pepper Cloud's expertise lies in integrating AI with WhatsApp functions to provide SMEs with tools that enable more efficient business communication and customer interaction. Tarun highlighted, "We're at the forefront of building next-gen tools ... enabling businesses to connect with customers faster, smarter, and at scale." This includes automating conversations and engaging leads through AI technologies.

Various organisations, such as Urban Mood, Nam Ho Travel, and the Singapore Maritime Foundation, are among Pepper Cloud's clientele. Tarun emphasised their trust in the CRM solutions provided by Pepper Cloud, stating, "Trusted by local organisations ... and many other local and global businesses."
