SuperWorld & ASI Alliance partner to build virtual real estate

Mon, 25th Aug 2025

The Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance has entered into a strategic partnership with SuperWorld to integrate decentralised AI into a virtual real estate platform mapped onto the real world.

The partnership will combine SuperWorld's virtual real estate ecosystem, which allows users to personalise and monetise digital content tied to real-world locations, with the ASI Alliance's technology stack for decentralised Artificial Intelligence solutions.

SuperWorld has mapped the surface of the Earth into 64 billion unique plots of virtual real estate. Owners of these plots can generate revenue from various digital and physical interactions associated with their locations, covering areas such as advertising, eCommerce, gaming, analytics and booking services. Users can also create and share personalised "worlds" combining preferred places, events and experiences, integrating interactive content including 3D media, audio, video, photos and real-world bookings.

AI integration

Through the collaboration, several AI-powered features are set to become accessible across the SuperWorld platform. These include AI-driven discovery tools and recommendations, generative AI capabilities for immersive "phygital" (physical plus digital) content tied to real locations, and decentralised infrastructure to maintain user data security and community governance.

The integration intends to help users find relevant content and locations based on their interests and context, using AI-driven recommendations. Generative AI functionality will allow users to create interactive content linked to physical sites, while AI agents can autonomously devise and schedule real-world activities and itineraries, including suggested venues and bookings tailored to individual preferences.

According to both organisations, underlying these features is a decentralised infrastructure designed for transparency, security, and community-governed AI operations, aiming to address concerns around data usage and control in digital environments.

Revenue models and token rewards

SuperWorld is preparing to launch the SPWR token, designed to reward platform users for their digital and physical interactions. Landowners may benefit financially from any activity that occurs on their virtual real estate plots, while creators who build maps or curate content can earn from engagement, regardless of where their shared content is accessed.

This layered approach to monetisation positions the platform to distribute value among various stakeholders, from individuals recommending a local business to global brands integrating immersive marketing campaigns.

Statements from leadership

Hrish Lotlikar, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SuperWorld, elaborated on the mission behind the partnership.

"The world needs SuperWorld. Our mission is to empower people to explore, create, and monetise experiences tied to the real world – not escape from it. By partnering with the ASI Alliance, we're able to bring decentralised AI into this vision, enabling richer discovery, smarter recommendations, and entirely new types of immersive content that positively impact Earth and humanity."

Dr. Ben Goertzel, Founder of the ASI Alliance and Chief Executive Officer of SingularityNET, discussed the significance of linking decentralised AI to SuperWorld's approach to physical-virtual integration.

"SuperWorld is creating a unique bridge between the physical and virtual worlds. By integrating our decentralised AI stack, we can make those bridges smarter, enabling agentic AI that learns from and enhances people's real-world experiences. Together we're laying the groundwork for a global, community-owned metaverse economy that rewards people for their creativity and connections."

Developing 'phygital' economies

The partnership is positioned as an extension of SuperWorld's model, which interconnects the physical and digital realms to create creative and commercial opportunities at real-world locations. By introducing more sophisticated AI-powered discovery, content automation, and agentic workflows, the platform aims to enable richer and more interactive engagement between users and their environments.

Local businesses, creators and brands stand to benefit as the potential for direct rewards is channelled back to those generating or curating content, whether that involves recommending venues, building interactive art installations, or providing city guides. Platform activity, through the combination of real-world and virtual interactions, is structured to recognise and compensate individual and collective contribution.

The ASI Alliance's involvement brings a decentralised AI framework that underpins the platform's operations, aiming to address concerns around data governance and transparency while supporting a scalable, participatory model for metaverse economy development.
