Xsolla & HP partner to nurture next-gen global game talent
Xsolla and HP have announced a collaboration to support the education and professional development of aspiring game developers worldwide. The partnership integrates HP's Gaming Garage platform with Xsolla's Accelerator programme, creating a progression route from learning digital skills to launching game studios.
Programmeme scope
The initiative begins with pilot schemes in Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates. Organisers aim to reach over 100,000 students and young creators. Participants will have free access to courses covering game design, esports management, programming, generative AI, and cybersecurity. These modules are complemented by Xsolla's mentorship, publishing support, and business training.
Education to incubation
The partnership is structured to bridge the gap for emerging developers between initial training and market entry. The ecosystem moves participants directly from classroom learning into incubation, with opportunities for mentorship, funding and support for sustainable studio formation. The companies said this structure was developed to address challenges facing new developers looking to transition from education to entrepreneurship in the games industry.
Wider collaboration
Xsolla and HP also plan to set up global innovation hubs and educational initiatives to bring together industry professionals, educators, and learners. The approach aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing, while also giving students access to resources and networks that typically sit beyond standard classroom environments.
Global access
The partners said that HP's educational modules will be delivered via Xsolla's global learning networks without cost to users. This approach is intended to ensure widespread access for students and young creators, not just in the initial pilot regions but around the world.
"Together with HP, we're building more than an alliance; we're creating a foundation for the next generation of developers. From education to incubation to investment, this union connects every stage of a developer's journey and brings new opportunities to creators in every corner of the world," said Justin Berenbaum, SVP, Global Industry Relations & Funding, Xsolla.
HP executives highlighted the benefits of combining platforms to deliver a streamlined educational and professional journey for emerging developers. The companies cited a shared goal of preparing new talent for the commercial opportunities and technical challenges of the global games industry.
"Teaming up with Xsolla allows us to fulfill our shared goal of shaping the future gaming ecosystem by providing accessible and impactful learning opportunities. By assimilating HP's Gaming Garage learning platform with Xsolla's Accelerator and Curine Academy programmes, we will deliver a comprehensive pathway for aspiring developers and provide essential resources to prepare them to be future-ready and transform their ideas into real-world achievements," said Mayank Dhingra, Director and Global Head Education Business and Strategy, HP.
