Nordis launches ExpressoPay One-Click for payments

Nordis Technologies has launched ExpressoPay One-Click, a tool for digital payments and disbursements.
The product lets businesses add a personalised payment link or QR code to customer communications, allowing consumers to pay a bill or receive money with a single tap.
The system uses statement and balance data clients already provide to create a unique payment URL for each consumer. Each link is pre-populated with the balance and can be inserted into emails, SMS messages and printed statements.
Nordis is positioning the product as a way to remove steps from the payment process. Instead of sending customers to a separate portal where they must log in, find account details and start a transaction, the communication itself becomes the route to payment or disbursement.
Consumers can choose how to complete the transaction, including by card, bank account or digital wallet. Transactions take place in a PCI-compliant payment environment.
How it works
The launch reflects a wider shift in consumer payment behaviour, as customers increasingly expect billing interactions to match the speed and simplicity of other digital services. Businesses are also looking for ways to reduce friction in collections and payouts without rebuilding existing payment systems.
ExpressoPay One-Click is designed to sit alongside current online portals rather than replace them. A single data flow can support both multichannel statement delivery and the payment or disbursement journey because it relies on the same underlying files already used for customer communications.
That structure also gives clients visibility across the billing-to-payment process. Businesses can track cash flow at both the individual consumer and portfolio level, while also monitoring engagement and preferred payment methods.
For companies handling refunds, settlements and payouts as well as incoming payments, the same process can be used in reverse. A recipient who receives a message can move directly to a page where they choose how to receive funds.
Christiane Freese-Jones, Vice President of Product Innovation, outlined the thinking behind the launch.
"When consumers receive a communication and are ready to act, we want to make it as simple as possible in that critical moment," said Christiane Freese-Jones, Vice President of Product Innovation at Nordis Technologies.
"ExpressoPay One-Click makes two-way payment exchanges seamless. With one tap, consumers see the balance and choose how they want to pay or receive funds, whether by card, bank account or digital wallet, in seconds," Freese-Jones said.
Broader strategy
The new product is part of Nordis' broader effort to combine customer communications with payment processing in a single workflow. The company works in customer communications management and payments technology, with services spanning digital and print delivery, bill presentment and analytics.
By embedding payment options directly in routine communications, Nordis aims to turn statements, reminders and notices into transaction points. The approach may appeal to businesses trying to shorten the gap between sending a message and receiving funds.
Nicole Miller, President and Chief Operating Officer, said the product fits into that wider plan.
"ExpressoPay One-Click is another step in our strategy to make every customer communication work harder for our clients," said Nicole Miller, President and Chief Operating Officer at Nordis Technologies.
"We're connecting communications and the movement of money in ways that create more value from interactions that are already happening every day. By bringing payments and disbursements directly into customer communications, our clients can deliver the more convenient experiences consumers expect," Miller said.
Nordis said the launch gives businesses a way to add direct payment and payout options to existing customer outreach while keeping established portals in place. The product also extends the use of data clients already send for statement generation into a second function tied to collections and disbursements.
Every transaction takes place in a secure, PCI-compliant payment environment.
