DuploCloud & AWS to drive secure cloud automation for startups
DuploCloud has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to co-develop automated DevOps solutions for startups, AI-driven enterprises, and regulated industries.
The collaboration is designed to help businesses deploy cloud workloads with greater speed and security, particularly startups and companies leveraging generative AI as the demand for rapid and compliant cloud infrastructure continues to grow.
Co-development focus
DuploCloud and AWS have committed to working jointly on go-to-market strategies and technical integrations to create solutions tailored to the challenges faced by new and highly regulated businesses. The partnership aims to accelerate time-to-market while ensuring adherence to strict compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, and ISO 27001.
The announcement follows several years in which DuploCloud has focused on providing an automation platform for DevOps, security, and compliance. Over the past seven years, the company has addressed challenges facing high-growth startups by helping them automate essential cloud operations from the outset.
"By deepening our collaboration with AWS, we're taking another major step in helping fast-growing companies deploy cloud workloads securely and efficiently," said Venkat Thiruvengadam, CEO of DuploCloud. "This collaboration will allow customers to focus on innovating while we handle the complexity of DevOps, security, and compliance."
Agentic AI in DevOps
A central aspect of the collaboration is the development of new AI agents for DevOps automation by DuploCloud. These agents will leverage Amazon Bedrock, a service that provides access to large language models, to enable teams to build and deploy infrastructure, enforce security policies, and respond to incidents with efficiency comparable to experienced engineers.
DuploCloud states that its solution allows builders to benefit from integrated guardrails, intelligent automation, and operational simplicity, helping them to innovate while maintaining compliance requirements.
Jon Jones, Vice President and Global Head of Startups at AWS, commented on the use of generative AI within DevOps for startups:
"DevOps is one of the most compelling use cases of generative AI by startups, helping them streamline security and compliance while building their solutions," said Jon Jones, VP and Global Head of Startups at AWS. "Through this collaboration with DuploCloud we are offering more options to our startup customers and enabling them to innovate with confidence in the AWS cloud."
Integration and compliance
The solutions resulting from this collaboration are intended to ensure that not only startups but also enterprises in strict regulatory environments can deploy cloud workloads with assurance over infrastructure provisioning, compliance, and system observability.
DuploCloud positions its platform as one built upon AWS expertise and integrated security frameworks, supporting continuous compliance and secure application deployment. The company has emphasised that its platform operates without the need for Infrastructure-as-Code, aiming to simplify the process for customers deploying on AWS.
The agreement between DuploCloud and AWS represents an ongoing effort by both companies to support cloud adoption among startups and organisations subject to security and compliance demands.
