Nasuni expands global R&D with new innovation centre in Hyderabad
Nasuni has confirmed the establishment of its third global innovation centre, expanding engineering operations into Hyderabad, India.
The Hyderabad innovation centre becomes the latest addition to Nasuni's growing international research and development network, which already includes facilities in Cork, Ireland and Massachusetts, USA. The company stated the new office will play a significant role in increasing its product development capacity while underlining its continued investment in engineering resources across multiple geographies.
Strategic expansion
According to Nasuni, this move supports its commitment to scaling engineering capability worldwide and builds on the company's ongoing strategy of follow-the-sun product development. By leveraging talent and resources across its centres on different continents, Nasuni aims to enable continuous innovation and faster delivery cycles for its enterprise file data platform.
"Each of our centers plays a critical role in advancing Nasuni's technology, enabling our teams to move faster, think bigger, and deliver solutions that modernise enterprise file infrastructure," said Andres Rodriguez, Chief Technology Officer at Nasuni. "With the addition of Hyderabad, we're unlocking new levels of talent and product development velocity. The global nature of our R&D engine is a true differentiator for Nasuni."
The Hyderabad centre has been launched in partnership with Summit Consulting and ANSR, both of whom have experience in establishing and scaling Global Capability Centres (GCCs) for technology companies. The collaboration is intended to enhance Nasuni's ability to attract and retain engineering expertise within India's technology ecosystem.
"The India Innovation Centre is being instituted with Summit Consulting, an ANSR company, bringing together both firms' proven expertise in building and scaling global teams," said Sandeep Sharma, Founder and CEO of Summit Consulting. "We are delighted to partner with Nasuni on its innovation journey. Together, we are establishing a deep tech center that will leverage our best-in-class enablement capabilities to attract top talent in India, build cutting-edge solutions, and accelerate Nasuni's growth trajectory."
Engineering leadership
Peddareddappa G (GPR), who serves as Nasuni Senior Director and India Site Leader, will oversee operations at the new Hyderabad site. GPR expressed confidence in the company's culture and desire to make a meaningful contribution to its future evolution.
"I was drawn to Nasuni not just by the market opportunity, but by the people I met throughout the interview process," said GPR. "The collaborative culture and transparent communication made it clear this is a place where I could make a real impact. I'm proud to help build Nasuni's footprint in India and contribute to the company's exciting future."
Expanding technical capacity
The new facility in Hyderabad is intended to complement the work of Nasuni's teams in Massachusetts and Ireland. The Massachusetts centre has played a significant role in developing the Nasuni Edge Appliance and the UniFS file system. These components are central to the company's product platform. In addition, the team there has developed artificial intelligence-powered self-service support tools, implemented intelligent automation of the knowledge base, and introduced predictive issue resolution capabilities intended to raise the efficiency of customer support interventions.
At Nasuni's Ireland centre, the focus has been on the advancement of file data intelligence. Their efforts recently led to the engineering release of Nasuni File IQ Premium, which provides analytics to help enterprise customers gain deeper insight into file usage, manage data expansion, reduce risk and improve storage decision-making processes.
A global approach
Nasuni indicated that extending its reach to Hyderabad aligns with the company's long-term strategy to access global technology hubs, thus connecting with skilled engineering professionals and extending its presence across international markets. Hyderabad is widely recognised as a major centre for software development, home to a concentration of multinational technology organisations and a large pool of technical talent, which Nasuni aims to leverage.
With the expansion to India, Nasuni's global engineering structure is designed to support around-the-clock development and customer support for its enterprise clients. The company emphasised that the innovation centres form an integrated network, enhancing overall product development velocity and responsiveness to market needs across various industries and regions.
The Hyderabad centre marks the latest step in Nasuni's effort to strengthen its technical foundation and continue delivering file infrastructure solutions for its international enterprise customer base.
