Datadog operates a monitoring and security platform for cloud applications, providing real-time observability and security features across customer technology stacks. The platform integrates a combination of infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring, log management, real-user monitoring, and various other capabilities to organisations across a range of industries.
The company states that its service is used to assist with digital transformation and cloud migration, facilitating collaboration among development, operations, security and business teams, while also aiming to accelerate the time-to-market for applications and reduce resolution times for technical issues. Datadog's platform also supports organisations in securing applications and infrastructure, analysing user behaviour, and monitoring key business metrics.
In recent years, the demand for platform observability and cybersecurity tools has increased as businesses have expanded their use of cloud-based solutions. Experienced leadership appointments, such as Vora's, reflect the focus being placed on product management and strategic innovation in response to this sector's growth and evolving technical needs.
Vora's career trajectory - spanning roles at several major technology organisations - brings to Datadog experience in scaling products to large user bases and an understanding of the challenges faced by teams building and refining digital solutions. The appointment to the Board of Directors is positioned by Datadog as part of its plans for continued growth and development of its product offerings.
