Westcon-Comstor unifies European sales under new senior leader

Westcon-Comstor has promoted Stéphane Reboud to the position of Senior Vice President, Sales for Europe, as part of an effort to unify its European sales operations under a single leadership structure.

The company stated that this strategic step aims to bring greater consistency across its partner and vendor ecosystem, while also fostering closer internal collaboration by creating aligned execution and enabling the sharing of best practices across the European region.

Stéphane Reboud, who joined Westcon-Comstor earlier this year, previously held several senior roles at Dell Technologies over a career spanning more than twenty-five years. Prior to the promotion, Reboud was focused on driving European sales for Comstor, Westcon-Comstor's Cisco-specialist arm.

In his new position, Stéphane Reboud will oversee all sales teams for both Westcon and Comstor across Europe, in addition to the company's global customer sales teams based in the region. The company confirmed that Reboud will continue to report to René Klein, Executive Vice President for Europe.

With his base in France, Reboud brings international experience having worked previously in the UK, Netherlands and Hungary. While at Dell, his most recent responsibilities included growing the mid-market business segment on a global scale, mobilising sales teams and channel partners to address specific customer requirements.

Strategic focus

According to the company, a priority for Reboud in his expanded role is to further enhance partner enablement by leveraging Westcon-Comstor's range of services and vendor capabilities through both Westcon and Comstor business lines.

Unifying the leadership of Westcon and Comstor's sales teams is intended to preserve Comstor's Cisco focus while providing opportunities for increased collaboration and a broadened market reach.

The group pointed to prior results in other regions, noting that a similar approach in the Middle East and Africa, as well as in Asia-Pacific, has delivered growth and supported partner success by streamlining engagement under unified leadership.
